Hi everybody! Way to go, TaDa!

118.8 this morning. I've been absolutely stuck right around 119.0 for the past week -- in maintenance range, but higher than I like. What I eat in any given day seems to have very little effect . . . I think it must be more about hormones and/or heat and/or the fact that while I'm exercising daily I haven't been able to do the weight workouts I do at home. Looking forward to getting back home next week and not being surrounded by all the processed low-fat nastiness my parents eat.

LOL! On the lowfat nastiness PP .. you crack me up!!!! I bet the weight is just a function of being away from home .. I was up 3.5 pounds over this weight at times while away and look ... it just went right away when I came home and got back into my schedule, etc. I wouldn't even think twice about it (easier said than done, I know! lol!)

Stargazey!! Congratulations!!!! I just made 5 years recently too ... Hard to believe it's been that long, eh?! I hope you'll post a big 'ol thread up on the Main Board to inspire others

Thanks for the encouragement. I too am pretty confident the weight will come down at home -- and it's certainly very stable right now, not creeping up at all.

It's really been amazing to see what I used to eat. The other day my mother made a cheese omelet for breakfast, and I thought that was fine, but later that day I looked at the nutritional info and ingredients for the fat-free American "cheese" slices she used . . . and 3 carbs per slice! I refuse to even touch their fat-free half and half!

Bella, your loss is great! You must feel terrific seeing it.

So many positives here.

Congrats all the way around. Bella good work on losing 4 of those 8 pounds. Isnt' it nice to know what to do to get back on track.

Congrats Stargazey on that 5th anniversary. Good for you. Isn't this low carb woe just the best ever for staying in the "zone."

Love your chat on the low fat products. Seems like I really cannot tolerate the taste, esp of the hard cheese. It is like eating dry cardboard. Some of the lower fat products like the ricotta is not bad. But the lowfat string cheese is the pits also.
Such flavor duds.

BBSunday with my weight.

Must confess I like low fat cheeses just fine, and buy lowfat string cheese and cottage cheese at home! It's still just cheese, anyway. What horrifies me (now!) is the stuff that has HFCS and a long list of fake/chemical stuff added to make up for the fat that's been taken out. Like reduced-fat peanut butter, which I ate for YEARS.

Hi maintainers,
Hope to make there soon. I have a question, has anyone tried Beanut Butter? If so how did it work out?

Hi BabyMoma Just wondering what you are calling Beanut Butter?
I eat natural peanut butter with Northern beans and coconut oil. I put it on my banana. I have grown to like the taste of it and it stretches the peanut butter so I use less.

Prairie I used to use Sargento's low fat string cheese but somehow they seemed to have changed the consistency of it. I used to make a grilled cheese of sorts using lavash bread with the string cheese, but now I cannot even get the cheese to melt.

Cindy are you giving up on the Intuitive eating plan?

Weight 121.5 this morning.

It's called carb not Beanut Butter, replacement for peanut butter. They sell this on netrition. It has 5 carbs with 5 fiber so it has 0 net carbs. I was just wondering the effect it had on your weight. I don't always trust net carbs.

Hi, I wasn't able to weigh this friday, as I was on holiday eating
popcorn and pastries
So, I'm 139.5 today, and hope to get back to 137 by friday
as I hope to lose that water soon.
Bisous!!

117.4 this morning.

1 Aug 117.4
25 July 118
18 July 118.6
11 July 118.6
4 July 117.2
6 June 117.4

I've started logging my food again because the numbers were getting a bit higher than I like, so I'm pleased to see that the last two weeks have been going the other way again.

I'd like to be 110-115 rather than nudging 120. That would put me around 20% BF.

Hi, quick update on my stats: 138.3
Lost some of the water, I guess, but could lose a little more on my belly, let's see how next week goes.
I've been really lazy with my exercise, so I'll have to pick up on that next week.
I'm IFing tomorrow and biking a lot on sunday.
Have a great weekend, everyone!!

Ailuros - Good going on the food logging in! Looks like it's definitely working!!!

Fviegas - I bet the exercise this weekend helps!

Kissa - Keep it up! You'll bust through that number this week .. Are you still doing induction?

As for me:

Goal Weight Range: 130-135

Jun Ave ... 132.00
Jul Ave ... 131.75
Aug 01 ... 128.75

So I'm below that goal range and truly I do not want to start looking haggard again, lol! I think Friday is probably not a good weigh-in day for me, as I have started up my "long" runs again (the doctor said I could - recovering from plantar fasciitis and heel spur), and Thursday will be my usual long run day, so my weight will probably be at its lowest for the week on Friday, lol!! Whereas after the weekend - of no exercise and possible restaurant food - my weight will probably be at its highest ... anyhooooo, Keeping an eye on it!!

If it appears that I am still below goal mid-week next week, I'll probably skip one gym day and see what happens.

Have a great week Everyone!!!!!

Good morning,
I reinducted on 7-21 and am down 7 pounds which I suppose isn't too bad but is less than induction in 1-07 when I lost 12 the 1st 2 weeks. Do you think that could be because I don't have much to lose? Hope so Anyway, I am still below my original goal but at 140, so I have more to lose.

Good to see all of the weigh ins today. Congrats to all!!!

Ailuros I was just wondering how tall you are? Hope you can get to your desired "zone" soon.

Hang in there Cindy.

TaDa how long are your runs? All of my 3 sons are runners now, 2 of them having done several marathons. I have done some 5 K races with them but am usally just a fast walker but in my age group I usually end up in 1st or 2nd place. That would be the 65 and plus group. I just enjoy being challaned in the races and do better than my daily averages.

BB Sunday with my weight.

Back down again, 117.2 this morning (goal weight range 115-119).

Kissa, that's a super sweet kitty picture! My kitty with cancer is still with me and did well through July, but his appetite seems to be slipping now.

Awesome job placing in those races!!!! and getting some personal bests ... that is the absolute best!!!

My longer runs are generally:

6-7 miles running hills (very very hilly here), or
9 miles on the flat

The most I have run is a 10 mile trail race - very hilly, very tough, crossing streams, etc etc and I'm told it'd be the equivalent of a half marathon in a road race. I think I actually prefer trail racing and trail running, but it can be dangerous for injuries, etc ..

Prior to my injury I ran mostly 10ks, have run some 5-milers too, but never a 5k. I think I'd like to do that though, just to see how I do at speed .. but I have got to get in shape first ... I was mess yesterday after 6 hilly miles

Down 8 pounds and back to where I started when on maintenance. Now I am choosing to lose another 8 before the cruise, but at least I feel like I am in the winners circle again! It has taken 13 days to get here which really isn't bad, and I am planning on staying on induction for at least 3 more weeks and probably will stay on it while cruising. Then when I get back I can start adding back in some foods like greek yogurt. But I still have to decide if I will X out all nuts and food bars. Probably so, they added alot to my weight gain and also the bars give me gas!

But when you do add in foods, the cravings can start so that is really something I need to address as I was snacking alot.

Have a great weekend!

Bella

WOW Bella, down 8 pounds. Congrats. That's a lot of weight.

Here is a pic of me after our 4 for Freedom race on July 4th. It was a hot and humid day. Enjoyed the race and the crowd.
http://i38.tinypic.com/2nq64xz.jpg

Weight today 121.5, just the same as last week. Funny that my pants that ususally fit loosely felt a little snug on Saturday and I was worried about the #s. Wonder what accounts for that bloated feeling?

Thanks so much Loretta! But you know, I get on the scale daily and if it doesnt move downward I am disappointed a bit! But at least I am back to where I started, so now I am lowering my goal weight a little for the cruise....
