Sharon! I love the shakes. Perfect for a meal replacement -whether I just don't feel like fixing something to eat or I am on the go. Also they help me to keep my cals in check.I am drinking a Chocolate Royale right now and I will be done eating for the night. I also had Asparagus stirfry, bologna & swiss rollups, a carbquik biscuit and deviled eggs. I know it sounds weird but I need to go shopping and this was all I had in the house that was LC LOL No treadmill today but Ill do my Shapely Secrets Have a good night all.

Sharon! There's plenty of room for one more - you will be comfortable here. I, too, love the shakes and have had success with getting weight off and keeping it in check! You'll find what fits into your low carb lifestyle and curb it to work for you. No frowns here - except turned upside down! Wishing you lots of success with the shakes routine! |

![]() ![]() Sharon!Life is too short to criticise anyone's weight loss attempts! You do what suits you and we would love to have you here with us. I am down in my Devon house for 2 weeks and I made a special trip to a distant supermarket where they sell the shakes I use and I bought everyone they had! |

Happy Tuesday, here is my plan for the day:
B: Shake L: Shake S: Shake D: Roast beef, mashed cauliflower and green beans - don't ya love atkins? I had to go strictly to the shakes because I seem to have become a nibbler since the holidays and I have to "step away from the food"! |

Homestretch ~as soon as I read your menu I couldn't get that song out of my head-ya know the one
Shake Shake Shake, Shake Shake Shake, Shake your bootay... It's nice to have the shakes to fall back on when we realize we arent eating as cleanly as we should. Im struggling ALOT at night trying not to nibble, too. Hang in there ![]() I will probably have a shake for dinner tonight as Im making stew (not LC) for the family. I don't mind, I actually like them -I feel like Im having a treat. Ive got to go get some exercise. Ive not been doing much; between TOM and sinuses Ive not been 100%. Have a great day everyone ![]() Last edited by scrappychik : 01-15-2008 at 10:36 AM. |

Yes, I do love Atkins!!! Your menu is stable - I like the dinner menu for today. I am having 2 shakes for breakfast and lunch - dinner will be a salad, veggies and baked chicken tonight. No diet soda but seltzer with a twist of lemon or lime. I am drinking my decaf coffee black several times this week to control my LOVE for heavy cream and Splenda. Sometimes I'll do that to level off body fat. Will be checking in later today. Last edited by delynmonet : 01-15-2008 at 10:33 AM. |

I ate after the gym, a chocolate shake, then I picked all the bits off a carcass! I love to do that. It takes forever but you know you are not overeating and it is all good protein.
Haven't decided what to eat tonight. |

50 Pounds Gone!
Good morning Friends!
Haven't been posting a lot, but, staying on plan. I've switched over to Protein Power recently, which is a lot like Atkins OWL, so works well. I'm enjoying my fruits and occasional bread. Watching my calories and being a little more careful about things. It's paid off! I finally reached 50 pounds gone! Now 152.5 and as always, anxious to get out of this level of weight. 140's here I come! As everyone knows, the weight loss never comes steadily, so sometimes it's a challenge to stay focused and not get discouraged. As I've said before, I never thought I'd be able to stay on track long enough to actually lose more than 25 pounds and actually feel and know that I can not only continue to lose more weight, but to actually feel like I can maintain this WOE! Welcome to all our new faces! This is a great group of people and everyone is in a different phase of either weight loss or maintenace, but we all know that the "shakes" routine works for all of us! Have a great day and I'll post again soon! |

Lisa**Yep right now I am shake, shake, shaking! For whatever reason it gives me back some self control and I need it! Sorry to hear you are a bit under the weather.
Del**I love my half and half and splenda..ohhhh do I love it! Cindy**What kind of carcass? I got a really funny visual from that statement! Deb**Great job! Sometimes you just have to change things up and it certainly sounds like it is working for you - doing a happy dance for you!!!! Here is my plan today: B: Shake L: Shake S: Shake D: Not sure but I am thinking of ground beef and veggies?????? Exercise: Walk one hour on treadmill - I love winter but miss walking outdoors. Stay on plan, stay strong, BE HAPPY - these all go hand in hand don't they?

I am finding that the shakes arent staying with me for long, I ususally drink mine about 7 am before leaving for work and by about 10 am I am starving, I drink my 2nd shake about 2 pm and them try to eat dinner at around 5pm, maybe I have too big of a space in between, today I decided to eat 2 scrambled eggs and 3 strips of bacon for breakfast and did not get hungry till I got home around 2 pm. I had my shake and now I am going to have another shake and maybe a little snack, anyone else get hungry while drinking the shakes?

Alright Lisa! I bet next week you'll be in the 140's!! I'm chasing you.... hope to be in the 140's myself before the end of the month. My birthday is Feb 3rd and I'll be 47, would love to have the scale read 147.... come on whoosh fairy.. give me a BIG whoosh!
Sharon... Hunger and the shakes I noticed that if I had just two shakes during the day. BF and lunch, that I was hungry before my normal dinner time. You might want to either pack a small snack of HB egg or some meat/cheese for mid morning, just keep it a small amount. I do best with one shake, low carb lunch and dinner. I know some people find they need more protein than they get from the shakes. it's a learning process, for sure! Hello Everyone! I'm sneaking in some posting at work, so I better go! Have a great day! |
