May 6 & 7 Weekend for maintaining
Nice weather here in Ky. Sunshine today and yesterday.
Cooler temps though but that is fine with me. What are you all up to this weekend? My first DGD will be making her First Communion tomorrow and I plan on going to Evansville for the celebration. Dh is doing well and a local cousin of his will check in on him for me. I'll have my cell phone with me and turned ON. Have a great weekend what ever you plans are. |

Hey gang,
Cooler but pretty here today as well. Got one side of the gh watered, now letting the water heater recover and will get the other. My only plans for today are going to Sams for a few bulk groceries, and maybe lurking around the 'boro for a few other things. We'll see how bad the traffic is LOL Loretta, enjoy your celebration! Whenever I go anywhere, I have my 'leash' turned on too The only thing I won't do is talk and drive... I pull over and call them back!Hope everyone has a great weekend!

Good afternoon gang!
Have a good time Loretta. Do they still do the white dress and veils for First Communion? Great that you have someone to chech in on DH and you can have a break. I don't know if I ever explained the Huntsman Senior Games for you. It takes place in St. George, Utah for seniors 50+. All of the competition (in any area you want) is in a five year bracket. So, that means I don't have to compete against those 70 yr. olds. Good weather for you also Ginny! We are doing ok also - IF the wind doesn't blow. Later......

Hey, everyone.
Not much going on in my corner of the world. We are just looking through paint and stain charts trying to decide what to do with the siding on this house. Tomorrow I'll be taking my car to the guy who will detail it Monday. It will be tied up for a day and 1/2. I can't wait to see how it comes out. Loretta, Have a safe and fun trip. How far is it from your place? My little niece makes her first communion tomorrow and we may stop in later for her celebration. Ginny, Sam's club on a Sat. YIKES!! It's got to be very crowded if it's anything like here. Enjoy the rest of your weekend. Barb, We will look forward to a full report, with pictures of your games. Off for a lurk and then to fold laundry. |

Good evening to all and Linda........... those pictures will be great (senior games)
with as fast as I run - they were be a blur I'm afraid my little kid is all grown-up. She just turned 25 and just signed her first lease on her first apartment and told us about it after the fact. I guess, let's call mom and dad for advice, are all over. She does make very good decisions. no wind, no rain, moderate temps, picture perfect day in the Rockies |

Well, I'll be a monkey's uncle! I had no idea everyone was still posting over here. I haven't looked all week.
Loretta, is DH doing ok now? No more of the night hallucinations? That must have scared you to death. We have 1st Communion next week at our church. This week was Confirmation. 30 of them and it was done during the regular mass with the Bishop of course. I've never known them to do it during mass before. Is yours? Barb, dinner is a problem for my household too and I don't work!!!!! I don't know what happened but I use to absolutely love to cook. Now, some days, if Chuck doesn't BBQ we don't eat! Or it's snacking dinner!! I think it has to be because we just are so limited on what we can eat and how much! Damn little!!! Now with all my problems, it's just discouraging. I'm so limited. I want to see the blurrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr Ginny, how's the gh going? I finally gave up on my orchids. My garden window gets the evening sun ( that is if it's sunny LOL) and fries all my plants. What plant loves to be fried?? I'm back to my African Violets but have to put a bamboo screen down in the evenings. I'm trying some miniture roses there too. Not sure how long they'll live indoors. This is my first experiment with them inside. Linda, we use stain on our house too so consequently, Chuck does the painting. You would die laughigng if you ever saw me with a paint brush and stain. I think I even hit the neighbors house one time. Chuck just took the brush out of my hand and that was the last time. LOL gee, I wonder if I did that on purpose? Hehehe Rainy and dark, one of those days you need your lights on if driving..grrrrr Maybe just stay home, watch the Mariner's play, read a book during the ads and THINK about cooking some dinner. ![]()
