Good morning - it's Thursday!

Just in case you are retired and don't know what day it is.

I have a three day weekend, so looking forward to some down time. Seems that's all I look forward to these days. Summer is around the corner and lots more outside activities.

Lack of planning puts me into a piss poor mood.

All of the suggestions are good (for dinner) and I did have lots of crock pot and ready-available food for dinner set to use on days I worked. That helped a lot when I was prepared.

Just made reservations and will be gone from June 10 to July. WI, MN, NM, WY and then back home. I'll have to stay home July just to pay for the trips.

How is it going today Loretta, any better?
How soon until you lose that TOM Ginny? (you youngster you)
Linda, what size are you wearing now with the 14 extra pounds. They usually say about 10# a dress size.

Barb even though I'm retired I have a schedule. My kids laugh at me for my routines. Monday wash clothes, Tuesday clean house, Thurs grocery shop. Etc.
Have not had a real vacation for a while. Unless you count going to visit relatives when someone dies. Pity, Pity me. More company coming in July.

I did not want you be in here all alone today.

DH is doing better onsome days and then back a step or two. IT will just take time.

One of the best things I ever lost was that TOM. I'm sure glad that is over and done with. Ginny I really got to like xp once I got used to it. Before you know it they will be changing that too.

Linda how is that new range working out for you. Have you tried the low carb tortillas? Just curious. I want to make some enchilatas (SP).

Hi Barb and those who follow.

When I was still working, I loved those 3 day weekends. So when will you pack it in and retire? You will just love it.

I went up one pant size just for comfort. I can still squeeze into some of my old size 4's and a couple of boys size 14, but UGH!! They are tight. I'll take comfort any day.

Ginny, UGH!! I got rid of the baby carriage when I was 44 because of some fibroids and wish I had done it sooner. Can't you have an Endometrial Ablation? That will take care of it without major surgery. Ask your GYN.

Susan, if you check in, please let us know how you are doing.

Loretta, How is DH today? Does he get a little better each day now that he is off those darn meds?

My mom just refused to go on any heavy duty narcotics after her surgery and just took Ibuprofen. She also demanded an Epidural, not a general anesthesia and didn't have any neurological symptoms at all.

Julie, what's happening?

Off for a lurk and then off of here to fold laundry.

The range is OK, but quite a PITA to keep clean, BUT it looks nice.

DH buys those low carb tortillas from Netrition and likes them, they are not that good as far as I'm concerned.
