Maintainers

For all of you who are maintaining . .

Can you please post (2) sample menus. The first from when you were in OWL and a current one (now that you are on maintaining). Please list to the best of your knowledge portion sizes, carb count and calories. Feel free to add in any other relevant information you like (i.e. exercise, water consumption, etc.) Thanks in advance.

Thank you so much for that info. I am trying to see where the "line" is food wise for still losing vs. maintaining. That info was great!!!

Thank you.

Not to get all "touch-ie feel-ie" or anything, but before I had the girls I had quite a pi$$ poor attitude as far as "life" was concerned. Nothing was precious, nothing mattered. I believe that somehow "fate" intervened and gave me something (the girls) to "believe in." Now I have such a fire about life burning in my soul. I want to show them the world. Not material things, per se, but just a general zest for life and living. I just can not believe how "lucky" I am to have received something so way beyond anything money could buy. I now know that life is worth living. Nothing was making me happy before the girls. I just kept trying to buy happiness and accumlate things. But in the end I did not care. I just kept thinking what if this is all life has to offer ("things")? Why even bother then. Who cares. It was as if someone or something figured out what was needed in order to make me appreciate life and gave it to me.

Owl
Breakfast-4 slices of bacon,3 eggs scrambled in bacon grease, tea with 1 tbsp half and half
Lunch-2 cups romaine, 2 celery stalks, 6 oz can white albacore tuna, 2 tbsp ranch, 1/3 of a cucumber, sprinkle of cheddar cheese
Dinner-Chicken breast dipped in sour cream and mustard, 1 cup broccoli with sprinkle of cheese, pat of butter

Maintenance (What I ate today)
Breakfast-2 eggs, scrambled in butter, 1/2 green apple, Large decaf coffee with 2 tbsp half and half from convenient store-my friday treat now before work.

Lunch-2 cups romaine, 2 stalks of celery, 1/3 cucumber, 6 oz can of albacore tuna, 2 tbsp ranch, sprinkling of cheese, 1/2 green apple

Dinner-Ate out so I had a small garden salad with ranch, NY strip steak, 6 huge sea scallops broiled, about a cup green/waxed beans, 2 tall glasses of unsweetened tea.

Cant help ya on the calorie counts-didn't count them until the end...and that was just to lose the last 10. Lately-I haven't been counting anything. I just know what foods I can eat, and just eat til I'm satisfied. Every time I weigh, I'm still 117..so I must be doing something right.
