QUESTION?

Hello everyone...I am here because I am seeking some advice and I am hoping some of you can help...I am just about at goal..actually I have seen goal but it never sicks around for more than a day so I dont claim it! I am just curious as to how much you "let" your weight fluctuate. Do you know what I mean? Like should I call goal? I am always with in the same 2-3 pounds, never more. Should I strive to stick to that one number or should I claim it (come Monday of course when it is official "weigh" day)?

I know what you mean, when I hit 155lbs I waited a few days to see if it would stay it went up a pound and then down but always to 155 so I knew that after a few days this is where I was! I think you Hit it! If it stays or goes right back to that weight that is it

I know what you mean - the longer you maintain the easier it is to stay at a weight you want.

Your body hasn't settled into a new lower weight and it goes up and down and up and down.

I stay with 3 pounds -- if it goes up to 4 or 5 - I panic!

Thanks guys, I think I am going to just continue what I am doing and eventually it will "stick" I took an avereage of my weight for every day the last 2 weeks and it was about .5lbs above goal. I am increasing my cardio a bit this week so maybe it will push that last half a pound away. I am going to wait to officially claim.

Congratulations Jackie on reaching your goal weight!!!!!

I fluctuate weekly on my weight about 2 pounds max. I don't think it is realistic to weight in at the same exact weight all of the time. Staying in a close range of 2 to 3 pounds is a better target. Just keep an eye on it and don't let it get out of hand.

Thanks! I am feeling good about where I am. I know weight fluctuates which is why I was debating. I tend to fluctuate on the higher side of my goal, but I think I am ok with that. I have a number I wont go over, and if I do I will just cut out a certian food that tends to make me bloat a bit (popcorn) for a few days....

You are doing fine. When I first reached goal, I was a nervous wreck but after things settled down, like the rest I kept it within two to three lbs.

Unfortunately I quit smoking a year ago and slowly put on 16 lbs. without changing one darn thing. My doctors all say it's OK and happens because of metabolic changes. Oh well.

Any way, relax, enjoy and keep up the good work.
