HAPPY FIRST DAY OF SPRING!!

I have 4 days of work and then Spring Break -

After that everything goes fast and it's summer -

This much good news so early in the a.m. is too much -- need more caffeine!

Thought for the week: Now that you are maintaining, how much pure water do you drink?

Have a good week - each and everyone of you!

Mornin' y'all,

Thanks for the birthday wishes! Last night we went out for Mexican food, fajitas were really good. I have to work today, but will have Friday off, there's an orchid show next weekend and I want to get in early on the buybuy

Loretta, glad the Dr. is taking a conservative approach, too many are chomping at the bit to cut into someone, and it's nice to see some actually do follow the oath they take. Ouch on the 2 new tires, but better to have a matched set on the fronts or rears than just one oddball. On our F150, we have aggressive tread tires on the rear but good road tires on the front. Not that she gets driven much with these gas prices, but if we need her, she's there!

Barb, I'm tickled about it being spring now too, if our weather would cooperate....cold and rainy today, but that will change soon enough. At least the threat of 'winter' is pretty much done here. What do you have planned for your summer vacation?

Julie, how are you feeling? Is Nick back to work full time yet?

Linda, good thing you have that back-up kitchen downstairs! How did the counter modification go for the new stove sizing? Is it an extra wide stove? My DSisIL in MN sent pics of their snowstorm results......did any of that make it to you? They got 15 inches total last week The only one who really liked it was my nephew, Skye, a GSD who loves to play frisbee and had a blast playing in the fresh, soft snow!

Well, all, off for a little lurk, then time to get moving.

Hi gang,

Someone forgot to tell Mother Nature that today was the first day of spring. We woke to several inches of snow. It remained in the low 30's all day. UGH!!

Barb, way to go!!! Spring break is just around the corner, eh?

Water?? Humm, between 80 and 100 oz on most days.

Ginny, I bet you are chomping at the bit to attend that Orchid show.

Glad you enjoyed your birthday dinner.

We didn't need to modify the counter top but dh will need to router out some of the floor underneath. It seems our counter tops are 35" and the stove is just a bit higher and made for a 36" counter. LOL it figures.

Julie, yeah how is Nick doing and how is that stomach of yours?

Waving to Loretta and thinking of you too Susan.

As of today I've graduated to a liquid diet during the day and a regular diet at Dinner, no later than 6:00. At least I got rid of the soft diet at dinner. Really wanted to get rid of this awful liquid one. I am feeling better and the Dr. is going slow. Don't have my biopsies back yet and not sure about the upper GI test. Get the CAT scan next week.

Nick is doing great, working 4 to 5 days a week. Still working on the May deadline. Time will tell.

Linda, what date did you say you were going to the other Dr.?

Missed Barb's and Ginny's birthdays. Sorry gang but here's a belated..

Glad to hear you have graduated to solid food at dinner Julie. Just what the heck is taking those biopsy results so long? When I worked in the OR, we got frozen sections back within a few minutes and the regular results within a day or so. Wishing you the best kiddo.

I see the new Endo on April 7. Weight is just holding. Some days I'm down a lb or two and others up.
