Sunday March 19 ST. JOSEPH'S DAY

Hi to all

Have missed Barb's birthday, the 14th (I think), Zip's birthday (?) and Ginny who's day is tomorrow, the 20th.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ALL OF US!!!!!!!!!

Hope you all have a grand time celebrating as I did.

Life has just been a little bit busier here lately. Dh having some health problems and this past week my son is here visiting so we have been either celebrating (his birthday is the 20th) or shopping.

A colonoscopy that Dh had found multiple pre cancerous growths. They need to be removed but due to his age and general poor health we are trying to be cautious and trying to decide what to do. He will have to be evaluated by his cardiologist and internist to get a go ahead for a sigmoid colon resection. Next week we will be seeing those doctors.
The surgeon (a woman, very nice) said that if he was younger they would remove his entire large colon (ouch). That would be too much of a stain for him at his age and condition. We are on "hold" again until he gets evaluated.
The surgeon seems to be taking a conservative approach.

Ginny glad you were able to repair that tire.
I punctured one of my Honda's tires and it was not repairable so I ended up with 2 new tires to keep things even. I hate that though, now I am mismatched. Our weather has been up and down. Colder than normal temps for this week. Any one coming to look at your house? Did you scout out any possibilities for a new place?

Linda hope you are enjoying that new range. We have a propane tank here but the stove is electric. I had always cooked with gas before but I do like the electric one just as well. Hope you enjoyed the St. Patty's celebrations.
Glad to hear about your mom's success with her colon resection. Does she have colonoscopies for follow up now and how are they?

Barb hope you had a great birthday. School must be keeping you quite busy lately. Are you able to get on that treadmill at all? How is your DD enjoying her hospital experience? Will she do hospital work when she completes her education? I always enjoyed nursing except for the paper work.

Julie, how are things going for you? Are you getting that stomach to settle down. Did you decide about that pacemaker? I thought about you one night last week when I thought I might have RLS. I had such severe cramps in my feet and just had to keep them moving. Glad you are setting a time frame for Nick to be on his own. You have certainly put in your share of time to help him.

Susun hope you can find some time to check in too. You have been in my thoughts and Sometimes life gets messy.

Have a calm and peaceful Sunday all.

Hi Loretta, it's good to hear from you. Sorry your dh is going through some problems right now but I do like a conservative approach to some of these things. Please keep us posted

My mom has a colonoscopy every year and will until she is free from polyps for at least 5 years. So far, so good.

Stove isn't installed just yet. Maybe tomorrow.

Happy Birthday Ginny.

Roger is next on March 31.

Yes Susan, check in when you can. We all miss you.

Just heard from another long time Atkins Maintainer, Checky. She hasn't posted here in several years but is doing fine, EXCEPT her weight is creeping up here and there with out even changing her diet. Geezzz, the joys of getting old, eh?

Waving to the rest of our gang and hope all is well.

Thanks Loretta for the good wishes.

Yes I'm finding the treadmill but it's hard to get back into a routine. I'm always finding an excuse.

to all who have had or will have a birthday this month.
