Hi gang, gee it's real quiet around here lately and I am part of the cause of it.

Been busy out of town buying a new bed and electric range and looking for new bed linens and pots and pans.

I would rather give up cooking though

Loretta, hope your DH is doing OK. Is he going to have surgery?

Julie, check in will ya? We are all worried and want to hear about your test results.

Barb, LOL I like your diet

Susan, how's it going?

Ginny, any luck house hunting?

Morning folks.......

I've been busy lately also but I know it's not an excuse.

woke up this a.m. to several inches of snow which we cherish here since it's been so dry. There was just an article in the paper about it being a tinder box for summer.

I'm fine today. A little confused and waiting for the Dr. office to call to clear up about 10 questions I have for them. Grrrrrrr

Hello Linda, Barb, Julie and the rest of our little gang,

I had a few quite moments as DS is sleeping right now. He came out of the hospital on Monday and he has made some progress is 4 days.

I have a feeling that I will be down here for several weeks yet. It is a slow road back to recovery.

I have gained a few pounds as I have not been on program. If and when I can get organized I will start again. I did manage to get to 132lbs then I flew down here and was eating what ever was available.

DH had to fly back after the first week to start back at work. We talk twice to 3x daily. He is doing okay on modified hours and is glad to be back. He is concerned about me down here though and wished he could have stayed longer. Timing was not there.

I hope to get some spare time to come here daily now. So I will have to catch up on what's going on with you all.

We are have a neat little blizzard right now - snow coming in horizontal!

Hey gang,

Just checking in after a busy day. We had our case lot sale and I came out with a BUNCH of chicken REALLY CHEAP. The freezer is full. I got skinless/boneless breast for us and some ground chicken for the furkids to enjoy in their food. I'm expecting some very happy tails for quite a while. We're pretty whupped.

Susan, you're where you need to be, don't be too concerned about the lbs. right now, just take care of business.

Linda, Barb and Julie, hope all is going well. Glad you got the sneaux, Barb! I know y'all needed that.

Off for a little lurk and then bed.........
