What? I'm the only one that's up and around?

May be the rest just frooze......it might be so cold that you need jumper cables to get the driver started!

Susan, did you lose that pound? Weigh-in tomorrow.....

Julie, 5 # are you sure? You really are socked in with that virus if you have to use pred. I hate that stuff and haven't had to use it for many moons. Hope it clears up real fast.

Waiting to others to check in...........

Hi gang, sorry I didn't get here last night but I was putting new drawer pulls on my bedroom furniture. It spruces it up and will keep me from spending money on a new set.

Weight sitting there still. I won't see the other endo until April 7 and hope to hell that I don't gain anymore. My jeans are tight and uncomfortable. Guess I'll go shopping at "Sally's Boutique" and get some at the half price sale. I'll be darned if I'll spend 40 or 50 bucks on new ones, unless I have to.

Barb, maybe I should increase the carbs a bit. I'll try some berries and maybe some parsnips and see if that helps.

Do you get earthquakes there?

There are many faults in NY and a big one under NYC from what I understand.

Ginny, I didn't know you were selling your house either. Tell us about it.
Wishing you the best though. Will you take along your Greenhouses if you do sell?

Julie, how's the stomach doing? Better I hope. When do you see the gastro?

Loretta, we are all thinking of you and hoping everything is fine.

Gotta go make some chicken dish for dinner tonight.
Later

Barb, to answer you question over on the Roll call...yes, I'm addicted to ''Boston Legal'' Love that show. I'm glad I started watching from the beginning. Do you watch Grey's Anatomy like Linda and I do? I'm glad the Olympics will be over too. I enjoyed them but want my regular show back. Think a bunch of new shows will be starting the next few weeks.

Linda, am going to try and get a chest Xray on Monday. I do feel better but have been wondering if something else isn't going on with the stomach (bra line area) and my breathing. I think I need to take my health into my own hands at this point. I go to thr Digestive Health Specialists on Thursday loaded with questions.

Linda, I feel so bad for you gaining that weight. Stopping smoking is more important in the long run but geez, you worked so hard keeping the weight off. Like Barb said, up the carbs for a few days and then drop back down. Maybe you just need a metabolism kick.

Hi Ginny, Don't keep us in the dark about the house/greenhouse sales.

Hoping Loretta will pop in her today.

SuSun, bless you and sending prayers.

Just now getting around to the computer. IT was just one of those busy Sunday's, a rare occurrence for me. Got involved in preparing and serving a luncheon at church and the clean up. Then I went of visit some of the sick of our parish. Health care sure leaves a lot to be desired. IF medicare does not "approve" of admitting a elder patient with pneumonia and living alone, I wonder about how much they want to help people. The gal I saw sure needed to have some oxygen and also some breathing treatments. It will take her a while to get well at this rate because she did not have pneumonia in all of her lung fields. She also has cancer. YIKES!!!!

Julie sorry to hear about that extra 5 pounds. When you get well and get off of that pred you will shed that weight quickly. Your cold should surely be on the mend by now. Although I have heard of lots of long lasting respirtory infections lately. Sorry that your stomach is causing problems for you too.
DH is having a colonoscopy tomorrow so he has been running all day long. He is a good patient and took all of his "go-roughly". Just some dulcolax pill left for him to take at 8. We have to be there in the am at 8:30 so will leave at 7:30. Hope the doc has some answers for you this week.

Linda just wondering how you are feeling with that little extra weight. Maybe you needed a few extra pounds for better health. The extra pounds are much healthier than the smoking was for you especially with your lungs.
I have heard that the weight gained from not smoking will even out within a years time. So hang in there and keep on eating the way you do and get some new jeans.

Ginny I was suprised to read that you were thinking about relocating. You have just about got things fixed the way you want them with the green house and all. It does not hurt to look though, maybe you will find something nicer. Will you be looking in a different area? Closer to work?
What about the pups? I sure don't like moving because of all of that packing and getting rid of stuff. Where to put it all?????

Hey Barb it sure must have been an interesting week for you at work with all of those late night meetings and stress. Makes for interesting talk and some out of the ordinary news, like our church secretary.
Our weather has been very nice with some cold and snowy days and then a warm up for a few and then more cold and snow. Good to feel spring getting close now and the daffodils are peeping up. The air will take on some fresh newness about it all..

Susun hang in there with your weight loss even if you don't make it this week. No need to be in a hurry when you are making some permanent changes in your eating habits. You seem to have been spending a lot of time with Ella lately. What happened to your free time and her "nanny"?
I am sort of jealous though, I have not seen much of Leah at all lately.
Too bad we both can't get just enough of them without too much or too little.

I have written a book. Hope you all have a great week!!!

STAY THE COURSE~~

PS I sure like my new partials and am really enjoying my salads a lot more now that I can chew.
