We have blue sunny skies again up here but BBBRRR cold outside.
It is supposed to warm up a tad today, still quite low though.

The scales moved to 135.4 for me this morning, hope they stay there. I am on the Spring Challenge and weigh in is tomorrow, so looking for 135 for Mon.

I watched the Westminster dog show last night and the Bichon came in 3rd in the non-sporting dog category. I thought of Julie's Bo holding his head high. Of course Oliver slept thru the whole thing.

Hi to all

Had a busy week. We had appointments almost every day except for Friday. Lots of doctoring. Dh will have a colonoscopy next Monday on the 27th. They found micorscopic blood on his routine exam with hemocult.
Busy catching up on some baking, etc. I was running low on my "treats". I want to check out that Granola I saw posted by Carolyn on the recipe help and suggestion bb.

Susun glad you are continuing in your with loss plan with success. Hope your DH will be a big help for your DS there in FLa. DH ought to enjoy that warmer weather. Gheesh, did your DD get a perm in that 4 hour hair do session? I have not had to babysit with Leah for quite a long time now. I sort of miss seeing her like that. She is talking a lot now.

Ginny did you get that snow we got? About 3 or 4 inches of the white stuff. It blew in on my car that was in the carport and I had lots of snow removal to do yesterday. Freezing cold temps too. But it is getting closer to spring. Are you still enjoying your new job? Do you miss the DOCK?

Linda sounds like one of those DGKids of your is always having a birthday or celebrating some life event. How are your mom's doing? Are you still having dinner with them once a month? I like my avg virus check and other check that I down loaded. It sure seems to be doing its job.

Julie how is everything you with you and the family there in Wa? What's going on with Nick? Has your cold finally left you? Think spring!!!!
Hope your rain has quite for a while. You are probably planning your next camping outing.

Barb any signs of spring there in Colo. I see we have some March flowers blooming down at the end of our road. My tulips are up about a thumbnails worth. Pictures later. How are things at school? My Dstep GD will be turning 18 in May and they are going to be busy setting up some legal things for her protection. Power of Attorney etc. They have been trying to get her in a special college type school for autistic adults, but she will need to be properly diagnosed first and then take that ACT test. Just lacking some ground work.

SuSun, the dog show was on last weekend. you must be getting a rerun. yes, we were glad the Bichon was 3rd place. he was a cutie huh? I don't particularly like the one that one. Can't think what kind now.

Hi Loretta friend....love thie pics. DOn't think we've ever seen your DH before. Nice looking guy! His DD are nice looking too. Then there is Leah! What a little sweetheart she is. Thanks for putting up those pics.
Hope dH test comes out clean.

I'm doing fine. Got over the virus finally after 3 long weeks. Just some lingering asthma going on.

We just got home from our weekend out and un-packed. Had a little snow, but not much, and ate too much.

Loretta, pictures look beautiful -- all of you !!! No sign of Spring here -- just more wind and snow.

Julie, those of us with asthma do have a hard time with these respiratory virus'. Glad to hear that you are on the mend.

Susan -- what's your goal? You must be close with looking for 135.

Linda, you could never be a hermit because of all the family celebrations!! You are always on the go......

Ginny, how's the new job going? Do you have to break in a new Spring wardrobe?

Boy is it ever cold around these parts. It's difficult to get outside. Hopefully it will warm up soon.

Susan, way to go on that rapid weight loss. Mine still just sits there.

With 7 grand kids, someone is always doing something.
No the moms are no longer coming up monthly. I just can't do it anymore. It got to be too much. Maybe in the summer.

Ah Julie, you answered my question about the dog show. I thought it wasn't still on.
I just checked out a national flu map site and the flu is rampant in all most every state. Do you think that's what you had?

Hey gang,

Still cold here today, will have to look at yahoo weather to see what we can expect THIS week LOL! I have daylilies up @ 8", and they have sneaux on them. I bet they're thinking 'huh?'!! We also have buttercups blooming along the sides of the road now.

Loretta, wonderful pics! Y'all are a great looking bunch, and Leah is sure growing up.....seems like it was such a short time ago that she was born. Hope all is well with your DH's test. Last weekend we totalled probably 3" of snow, but it was Friday night through Sunday night, so it melted off during the days. This weekend we got a good dusting, probably 1/2" total, but it's pretty cold! Lots spiking and starting to bloom in the gh. The job is going well, I do like it, and everyone gets along quite well. Not any high drama in our office......but PLENTY in the plant Job security!

Linda, I hope with all this running you're doing that you're taking some time for yourself too! Oh, and that was MY $$$$$ they won. Sigh. Crap, I guess you have to buy a ticket, huh? We've had our coldest nights so far this winter, last night and tonight are supposed to be in the teens. Brrr. Not used to that stuff any more.

Julie, glad you're finally shaking off the creeping crud! You've had it long enough, time for it to 'bug' someone else. How long before spring shows up to y'all? What breed did win Westminster?

Barb, sounds like you had a fun weekend, good for you. Where did y'all go? How's your DD doing on Oregon? Our weather has been pretty strange here, Thursday it was almost 70, then this weekend we just had highs @ 30. I have no idea when we'll actually see spring, but I'm sure looking forward to it. I'm so glad I'm not freezing my tail off on the dock, but I do miss 'my' guys and the activity. This being professional goes against my nature LOL

Susan, aaaawwwwwww too bad you didn't get to go to Sunshine! Will you be planning a trip down there before winter ends and get started on your summer tan? Is your DS burning out on the retail part of his job? Retail is tough, I know I'd be pulling my hair out after 15 minutes. Nip that extra baby sitting in the bud, don't forget about the time you need for yourself. WTG on the 135!

We had another quiet weekend here, feels good to decompress at home. Did my Wallyworld etc. stuff early this afternoon while I had a pork loin slow-cooking in the oven. One of the benefits of the co. I work for, CHEAP PROTEIN!! It was really good too!
