Dec. 2..Friday for those maintaining or trying :)

Hi everyone, We got some snow overnight but not too much. I guess we will have snow showers off and on for the next few days LOL actually off and on until at least next April.

My gosh, you all must try Carolyn's soup. It is really good.

Loretta, CONGRATULATIONS

Keep up the great work girl!!

Funny, I don't even remember the exact day in Sept. when I reached my goal, but I guess it really doesn't matter.

More later. Hot coffee awaits.

CONGRATULATIONS TO LORETTA!! this is just like having a birthday!

Snow showers here also off and on for the next few days. Heavy snow for the mountains though which makes going anyplace difficult, a pain, or just stay home.

I'll have to find that soup Linda. Did she put it into the recipes?

I need my caffeine also.......slept in this morning!

Here ya go Barb. I used cubed beef rather than ground beef. I guess you can throw any other vegetables in that you have lying around. LOL I did.
Next time I'm going to add some turnips or rutabagas.

Thank you, thank you. I really think that the low carb bb was very influential in getting me to goal and in helping to maintain that loss. This is a great place for support and food ideas. There were so many good "cyber" supporters I have met along my way. Thanks to all of them.

Linda I will give that soup a try next week after I get to the grocery store. I am trying to limit my shopping trips to once every 2 weeks. If I look around here I might have the ingredients somewhere. I hope that is all you get is snow showers all winter, without any accumulation.

Barb this anniversary of maintaining is sort of special to me. Seems like most of my life I have carried an extra 20 or 30 pounds. This is just amazing!!! Enjoy your day off.

Thanks Ginny. Your record is double mine. Hey, Sunday the Colts and the Ten Titans will be playing. I hope I get a chance to see some of that. We will be traveling to Indiana for Adam's baptism that day, about 5 hours of windshield time there and back.

Susun congrats to you too. You are sure getting back on the right track. Be patient. I'm happy you are turning around.

Thanks Julie. Love your spirit in getting those challanges fired up. I participated in quite a few on my journey to this lane.

Just got done doing 70 minutes on my ex bike and feel great! Still cooling off but will post a short one here.

Snow has quit and we didn't really get very much but of course it was slushy yesterday and then froze overnight so roads are pure hell today. So I'm staying home and getting a few things done.

Loretta, you were the first person I connected with when I joined back in the fall of 02. So you have a special place in my heart for getting me toward goal. Thank you for that!

Linda, thanks for the support over on the sugar alcohol thread at GY.

SuSun, how are you doing getting that weight back off? Join us over at the GY.

Ginny, so how do you like the new job by now? It sure is different from what you were doing. Easier on the ole bod kiddo.

Barb, seems most of us are having snow showers. More are predicted here today but it won't amount to much. You guy's are always snow bound aren't you?

Off to jump in the shower. I've cooled off and freezing now..

HOG JOWL? This proof that I'm reading Loretta's menu!! And how are you continuing to have those peaches all winter?

WE aren't snow bound all winter - just can't go far if you want to go over a mountain pass. that's why I like it here - just enough cold and snow and lots to look at or play in - higher up.

Later.......

Hello Gang!

DD brought Ella over 10a.m. while she went for her hair do, blow dry and the bank, she returned for noon and then took Ella home for her nap. They are going out tonight. They have a regular babysitter now, thank goodness.

I was a bit low on energy after they left so no exercise for me today. Between my shoulder blades is aching probably from the weight lifting last night at my aerobics class, so today may be a rest day. Although I feel like a WALK...hmmm? I may try for a short one later. I really do enjoy the peace and fresh air along with the exercise.

I took a hot soak in the tub, this aft to ease the muscle aches. I used a Bath powder. I usually use Epsom salts but none in. It is a gentle powdered Mustard seed, with Rosemary, Eucalyptus, Wintergreen & Thyme. I was so red and pink...DH said that I was ready for the oven.

Wrote out a few more Christmas Cards this aft. Sheesh the postage is a killer.
$1.45 to the UK and Australia, $.85 cent to the States and $.50 cents Canada. Then the cost of several boxes of cards...do I hear... bah humbug????

Barb, those peaches that Loretta uses are canned I believe.

Linda, It was a snowy morning to wake up to today up here too.
Thanks for posting the link to the soup recipe. I too was going to ask you for it.

Julie, Wow 70 minutes that must have been a good work out. Good fer you!

Loretta, Yes, I agree Cyber support is excellent to keep one motivated.

Ginny, This is TGIF. I do hope you are not working on the weekend.

KEEPING THE CARBS LOW and the Exercise up!
