WEDNESDAY -- Maintainers ** 11-30

Welcome to the last day of November, 2005!

I'm also going to a luncheon today for Agency Presentations. I know the group that is catering and they have chicken and salad that is great!! But, it is going to snow so that doesn't make it fun drive to get there. It's later in the morning so all the traffic should have it beat down.

We put lights on the tree last night and to me that's the best part of Xmas.

Don't you find people a lot more health conscious when there are luncheons and stuff like that? I'm finding a lot more peoploe drinking water, etc.

Until the evening..........

Hi Barb and those that follow.

Enjoy that luncheon and the chicken salad. I could just eat that for lunch with some lettuce leaves. Sounds good to me. If you have lots of traffic there the snow will get mashed down. Out here where we are there is hardly any traffic. This winter if they mention and accumulation of snow I am going to park my car at the top of our driveway. We have an incline that is about 20 feet long and it can get quite icy and is not easy to shovel.
LOL on the health food conscious. My SIL that lives up north was really complaining about her Thanksgiving dinner at her neices because most of them were into health food or vegitarians. She was not happy with the menu. Wild rice stuffing etc.

Running through. Just got done exercising and am soaking wet. Got to get dry!!
Barb, I agree about the luncheons. Water bottles everywhere and not just luncheons. Noticed it even shopping yesterday.

Hi everyone, been running my butt off today doing some stuff for my mom and then some grocery shopping. Fortunately the store wasn't too crowded and saved me some stress.

Barb, I too see many people eating "healthy" and drinking bottled water. They seem to be all over the place.
So how did the luncheon go and how was the chicken? How did they prepare it?

You drive carefully on that snow. Boy I don't like it but I HATE driving on ice worse.

Loretta, I'm here with my menu. Thanks for asking about me.
Your poor SIL, sorry that her Thanksgiving dinner was awful!! You would think that even health "nuts" would at least serve a somewhat traditional dinner on a holiday.

Hope you can find some young neighbor kid to shovel snow this winter. We old gals shouldn't be doing it.

Julie, How did you get all wet? Did you walk in the rain or swim?

Anyway, here is what I had to eat today

Atkins Maintainer Menu

Brunch
three poached eggs
Fattoush salad
coffee, cream

Dinner
pork steaks
mashed butternut squash
buttered green beans
coffee, cream

PM glass of Chablis and some roasted pecans
