Hi Linda and those that follow.

Sure hope you get good news from your liver and gb scans tomorrow. Have you been having gb sypmtoms? I would miss my fat too. It is very satisfying. I try to limit mine some. DH really enjoys the fats on meats. He says they are "good fats".

Surprised myself by weighing in at 1/2 pound under goal this morning.

SUNDAY'S MAINTAINER MENU
1/2 decaf black coffee, 4 cups all day
Brunch: 2 fried eggs, fresh polish sausage, 2 slices rye bread
1:30: banana w 1 tbs natural pb
4:00: diet root beer float w real cream
pysllium fiber in 8 ounces water
6:00: Veal breast
green beans
mock mashed pot
2 cups mixed greens, fresh veggies, 2 t ranch drsg
6 oz wine
Snack: Natural pb rice krispie square, CF diet soda

GO COLTS!!!! They don't plan until tomorrow evening but my DS has got me interested in them. I tried to order him a colt's sweatshirt on line and they were about sold out of his size. Guess since he is living there in Indiana, he caught the fever.

Hope you all are enjoying a nice Sunday. Will go shopping tomorrow with oldest son who is here visiting. We plan on being gone all day.

THANK Y'ALL FOR THE WARM WELCOME BACK!

I did manage a 50 minute walk yesterday with some arm weights.
I need to get out and do a good shop for all my LC stuff again.

Loretta,
WTGG! on your half pound loss.
Enjoy the time shopping with your DS, those times are what precious memories are made of.
I too vote for stuffed eggs, why mention his name if we dont have too...speak of the .....and all that.

Julie,
Thanks for the lovely welcome home and glad you like the font on my email.
The sun has already gone down and I havent been out to walk yet today, so not sure if I will manage it. It is the day of rest Sunday, so maybe I won't make it today. Thanks for all your encouragement you certainly got me back at it again.

Ginny,
Wow, you must have lots of treasured items to store in your Curio Cabinets. What do you have in there? Hope you got a bargain on your purchase.

Linda,
Good luck tomorrow with the liver gb, and pancreas scans.
I think you will be in the clear! I used to work with a doc, years ago, that used to say, "Fat, Fair & Forty GB fer sure!" As you are brunette, slim and 39 I am almost sure that you are home free!

Working my way back!

I can't believe you still have your gall bladder Linda. I thought by our age, we all had them long gone. Good luck on the tests.

SuSun, do you have stairs in your house? When the weather was bad I use to just walk up and down my stairs. Damn good exercise. Have to start out slow, maybe 5 min. if your out of shape. I worked up to 45 min. Course now, my knees won't let me do that but it was easy. No time, do 2 min. at a time.
See, I won't let you off the hook. Now, if you don't have stairs, let me know.

Loretta, I'll root for your Colts if you'll root for my Seahawks! They're playing right now, so I'm going back to the TV for now............

Just back from a 45 minute brisk WALK, arms swinging and all.

Thanks to Julie's encouragement, I did several flights of my stairs to warm up before I left.

Seattle won - Julie dear!! Since the broncos weren't playing today........

Susun, so glad to see you posting again ...... and don't leave us again!

Linda, what's happening with all of these scans and tests -- problems?

Loretta, ? of the day -- who is the quarterback for the Colts?

Loretta - fantastic at below goal!! I will watch your menu like a hawk and eat what you eat. will that do it?

Ginny, did you have to work?

We had a GREAT trip for Thanksgiving and came back early "over the mountain" because of a snow storm moving into CO. DD is really loving her job (PT) and teaching me alot. I'm now working on "balancing". If anyone falls, they have lost balance, and usually because you are "unbalanced" with your feet. Try standing on one and then the other and always put one foot in front of the other. Sounds simple, but when you fall, you have lost balance.

We went to the Denver Historical Museum and saw the neatest Imax film on the human body. Then they had exhibits that were life-like and you could walk into any body cavity and see what's happening. If you want to know anything about pee, poo, snot, throw-up, gas, and pimples, I'm an expert.!!

Later......

hi Barb and back!
Snow is in our forcast! 1-4 inches. If so, I'll be stuck at home! Won't venture out with all those crazy drivers. Nobody knows how to drive in this wet slick stuff.
Glad you had a nice time this past few days.
Balance? Ha...on the med I am on for my RLS..that is the only side effect. I'm very off balance and worked on it tons when in Yoga classes but I gave up. It's not me but the medicine.

Linda, I too was wondering why the tests. Love your new avatar!

Glad to be back with Y'all.

Barb see you are getting a good immersion in the med stuff. Yeah!
glad you DD is enjoying her work....the only way to go!

Julie,
Thanks again for the encouragement...I sure need it.

Linda,
Yep, I must second that Love that New Avatar...I guess it is time I changed my Spring/Summer one...yikes how time flies!

It is Grey Cup Day up here, so DH has been glued to Football all day. I think Edmonton won, so he will be back with me now for a while.

See y'all tomorrow!

Hey gang,

Good to see so much activity here again

We had a really nice day between football (Vikings and Seahawks won!) and went up to an orchid friend's for a little buybuy. Came home with some really neat stuff, as usual.

Susan, good for you getting in your walk! I wish we had an area at work where I could do that without going outside. No place to really walk around here, no shoulders on the roads so I don't trust THAT! These rednecks down here would turn me into a grease spot.

Julie, hope you don't get that sneaux I know what you mean about people not knowing how to drive in it, they scare me down here. Are you still using your recumbent bike? Can the knees handle that?

Linda, wishing you good test results tomorrow... hope it's just a checkup and not a problem! I'm a big beef fan too, but I do like chicken breast (gee, go figure THAT on where I work now LOL) and can make some good dishes with it.

Loretta, have fun finding an Indy ANYTHING this year, the rate the Colts are going I think everyone is cheering for them unless their team is playing them! Enjoy your shopping day with DS tomorrow. You shouldn't have to deal with too many crowds, they've probably already spent all their money this weekend

Barb, you're gonna have to have a talk with your GB team... I actually picked them this week and they let me down I thought for sure they could handle Philly without McNabb! Glad you're home safe and sound, especially with that white crap heading your way.

Everyone have an enjoyable evening!

Ginny, the Ortho recomended a bike or water aerobics! I bought a recumbant bike and love it. No, it doesn't hurt the knee. thank God. I usually do at least 60 min. a day.
Thanks for asking.
