Maintainers for Nov 26

Hi to all,

Glad that those huge meals and temptations are gone for now. I did better at DSs yesterday. Filled my plate with turkey, deviled (dressed) eggs.
We have a controversary on what to call them. Surely not "Deviled". That is what I call them. MY DIL insists on calling them dressed eggs. Her sister said we should just call them "stuffed" eggs. LOL
Passed on the desserts all together.

SATURDAY'S MAINTAINER MENU
  • 1/2 decaf black coffee, 4 cups all day
Brunch: Reduced fat ricotta cheese pancake w sf syrup, small bite of polish sausage
1:00: carb clever peaches w 2 tbs 5 carb yogurt
    4:00: sf jello w cream
psyllium fiber in 8 ounces water
    6:00: grilled hamburger patty
onions & mushrooms sauteed in olive oil
    left over green bean casserole
2 cups mixed greens, fresh veggies, 2 T 3 cheese ranch
    6 oz wine
Snack: 30% less fat bacon, 2 slices, CF diet soda

Ginny I love your saying Holidaze. That is what it becomes after a while. This entire season until after the New Year.

Linda glad you took a little taste of the forbidden. I thougt there was a recipe for lc lemon bars somewhere. I tried to make them once but they did not turn out quite right. NO shopping like that for me either. I did have an inlaw of ours that waited all night in line for a xbox game. It was freezing cold out there. That is just plain CRAZY.

Julie glad to hear that you had a Great Thanksgiving. That's a big improvment over last year. Good to hear that.

Hope to visit with oldest DS who is staying at his brothers for a few days. We might go shopping on Monday.

I've always called them DEVILED EGGS but stuffed sure fits!

Loretta, you mean your boy's will go shopping willingly????? Holly Cow! I didn't know they made men like that!

SuSun, Missed you terribly!

Linda, for a change, it's clear as a bell here. 45° I would dearly love to see some snow falling.......
Cleaning again?

Not doing much, ran to our local fabric store a few blocks away for some fun fur yarn to make all the girls scarves for Christmas. Not venturing any farther except for church...at least there they don't run you to the ground and make you lose your wig! Did anyone see that lady on the news?
Going to go pick up my book and do some reading....

Hey gang,

Welcome Home Susan! Hope your trip was all that you wished it to be

DH and I did some retail therapy today, my Christmas present will be delivered within the next couple weeks......another curio cabinet Guess I filled up the new one we just got in August! This will have to be it, since there's no more room in this house for a large piece once the new one comes in.

Hope everyone is having a great day. I will be making some soaps etc this evening to get a headstart on Christmas orders.

L8r,
