Hi Loretta, kind of glad to hear you are human. One dinner or slip won't kill you. Life is too short!

We had a great Thanksgiving. I too caved a little but not much. With my stomach, I just can't eat very much at one time anymore. Blessing in disguise!
A teaspoon here and a teaspoon there...fun huh? That's what life handed me, so be it!

No way will I wander out shopping on this day! It's just not worth it. Jana is over on this side of the water and will do something with her and her sister, Marisa. Haven't figured out what yet. It's pouring ran.

Off to get dressed...hehehehe love this retirement!

Hi Loretta and Julie, Guess everyone else is either busy or too stuffed to make it to the computer.
Can't wait to hear all about Susan's trip. I see she is back.as evidenced by several e mails

Loretta, glad I'm not the only one who had two Thanksgiving dinners or had a little taste of the forbidden. I did taste a piece of lemon bar. Pretty good and something that could be definitely converted to low carb. I'm going to try it soon.

Julie, what did you and the girls end up doing? I hope no shopping. From what I heard on the news, it was a total mad house. Fights in the stores and multiple fender benders in parking lots. People are NUTS.

No shopping for me either. I'm not crazy.
Did go visit the grand kids for a bit. Nick is getting into the terrible two's already. What a pip!!

Off for a little lurk and to read more Jance.

Dinner

Hey gang,

I should probably start tomorrow's thread but will keep it here for tonight.

We had a nice T-day dinner with our friends, I was really good and had turkey, green beans, devilled eggs, with 2nds of all. I knew I wouldn't be able to eat too much or I'd get SLEEPY, so I kept the portions small. Also had part of a wonderful cheese ball (too bad there weren't any lc crackers, my only indulgence of the day!) that was better than dessert IMO. I passed on the mega-brownies, gingerbread cookies etc. Even turned down pumpkin pie at work today. Geez, this being good is TOUGH sometimes

I'm glad everyone had an enjoyable holiday, and now we can all start the holidaze...... we'll do a little Christmas shopping in some out of the way places tomorrow. From now until after the 1st of the year, I'll be going to SWW only during off peak hours!

Thanks, y'all, for being such a great cyber-family!
