Barb will you be shopping for specific items on your trip to the Major Shopping Center? I seem to have my eye out for the sales most of the time. Be careful and have fun, enjoy the lights.

Julie that would be a monumental task adding up all of those mins. Too much of a headache. There seems to be good participation on it.
Glad your spirits have improved and you are off of the rx. We have missed hearing from you.

Ginny glad you got that heater fixed. It sure has turned cold. Those kids would not like being left in the cold. I think my flowers have had it now. They are looking very droopy. Hope you can catch up on those ZZZZZZZZZZZZZs. How was the visit with DR?

Linda I guess that the rest of us posting here might have to do it more than once a day. We have not even had any new maintaining members join up for a while. Wonder what happened to Liz?

Got several items I want to order on line for Christmas presents. I have one or two bought already.

Morning,

I'm do the bedding laundry today. We have a kind size bed so will have to take the quilt over to the laundromat but the blanket and mattress pad are a washing away. Not in the same load though..hehehe

Going to lunch with my gf as Friday is our standling lunch date.
Had my blood glucose checked at the Dr. yesterday and it was normal, 98. Now both the Dr. and I are baffled. Not sure why I have this shaking or tremor or whatever it is.
Got my flu shot on Monday...so I should be flu free all winter, right? HA well, at least for that flu that's in those shots. Hand washing, hand washing, hand washing!!!

Got a cortisone shot in my hip yesterday too. Do I feel like a pin cushion! My hip pain is almost completely gone this morning! Am I feeling wonderful and can't understand why I waited so long to go in.

So, I'm as good as new for now. I'm telling ya, this getting old is not for the weak. Geez, even my mind is good! What more could I ask for?


Barb, I know what you're thinking....I am just amazed at the calendar date...what ever happened to this past year? Where did it go? I love the holidays so I'm happy. Anything is better than last holiday season with my family split so with a renewed attitude, this will be a great holiday this year.

The challenge was suppose to go till New Years, never dreaming we would be hitting 10,000 minutes by Thanksgiving I think. Well, I'll give out the prizes and they can take it from there...

Loretta, thanks for keep coming in here and keeping this thread going. I've been bad about posting. Seems to have taken something out of me....humanity and all it's goodness. What happened to our love for each other? What was so darn important to ruin it for us.

Barb, yeah those holiday lights do not last long. I just bought all new ones for our deck railing.

Loretta, I think most people just don't get to maintenance phase for some reason. Maybe they just don't want it bad enough.

Julie, boy you got yourself into something, didn't you. Bless your heart. I just don't know how you do it. That Challenge must be a HUGE PITA.

I don't post as much or say as much lately either because "it" took something out of me too. It's sad that our friendship was so superficial to some.
