It's Monday ** CCM's
Good morning to our small gang!
Now that the thanksgiving plans have been laid -- how about that Xmas shopping? Does anyone go to a store anymore? I've been using the internet and mail lately. I love to go to a mall at this time of the year, but just to watch! Made some flaxmeal bread again -- let it go for a while. Need to do a cheesecake also!! Have a great one! ![]() |

Yawn *cracks jaw* Morning y'all,
Looks like we got a bit of rain here sometime this morning...my truck is wet, as is the road. We can sure use it. Not much new here, trying to wake up with some caffeine ![]() For Christmas shopping, what I don't make (soap, lotion, incense etc) I usually end up going shopping, but I do some on Ebay as well. Already got that started! At Thanksgiving we'll draw names with our 'family', actually some really close friends, that saves a bit of $$. Always a little something for all, but at least not having to buy so many main gifts. We're doing a Secret Pal thing at work, so I'll have to be creative on that ![]() Later........

Evening everyone, Nice day here again but things will change soon.
I am looking at all of my low carb recipes and getting rid of the ones I don't use. Christmas shopping is something I gave up in the 70's. We all agreed it was much nicer to do special things throughout the year such as a special trip or something else like a concert etc. I have absolutely NO stress unlike others who continue to get into the commercial aspect of the season. I still do put up a tree but that will come to an end one of these years. I just have no interest in it. I do give the grand kids money toward their college funds though. DH is still out taking another Hang Gliding lesson. Hope he comes home in one piece. More later. |
