CCM * Wednesday
Morning folks!
Another school shooting - down by you Ginny? By the comments made it's so difficult to tell who will end up doing these things. It's always the unexpected. We practice lockdown and it's a chance event. Hitting a school when kids are at lunch, passing in the hallway, etc. make it impossible. Let's face it, we are just sitting ducks! Now that I've managed to depress you all'.......I'll leave for work! Your yard looks good Linda -- it's fall/winter! Have any snow yet? Have a great one! I have computer class tonight, so I'll be busy - that's for sure. Too bad it's not called "XP for Dummies" ![]()

Hi Barb and those that follow.
I was wondering how close that school is to Ginny,. I guess he shot the vice principal and some other adults. Scary. I don't think schools are the only ones. I remember years a go a patient died and the family (or someone) in the family held the doctor at gun point. Can't remember if he was shot. Sometimes ERs get their share too. Guess we should get bullet proof vests. Late getting here today. Out shopping for groceries. Having to check my recipes for Thanksgiving. We will have Dstep daughter over for dinner. Now the holiday season starts. I sure need some help with my Christmas lists. I feel that I should buy some presents but I sure hate doing that. Don't know what to buy for one thing. Kids have way to many toys. Giving money is fine but it is nice to have a "Present" to open. The surprise is nice or not so nice. Linda I don't mind the fall colors. Today I got some nifty dried Co@kscomb I will add to my tulip pots. The dried ones are really pretty in my eyes. Hey to the rest of the bunch. Back later.

Been running my butt all over today and am ready to crash.
It's raining tonight but should get cold and possibly snow a bit tomorrow. Gosh, I'm not looking forward to winter at all. It's just too darn long. Barb, I bet you are learning so much at that computer class. Wish we had one around here. One never knows what anyone will do. Those school shootings are just part of our lives these days, unfortunately. Several years ago, we had a shooting but it was in front of the High School, not inside. God, it's just awful. Loretta, don't you think kids have plenty of gifts to unwrap from their parents? I just gave up doing any shopping and give money. It is so much better than getting a duplicate, something that isn't wanted or not the right size. AND there is no stress for me. Give it a try and I bet everyone will thank you. ![]() How about another picture of your pots when you get the dried stuff added to the pots? Waving to Julie, Susan, Jackie, Shawnee, Ginny, Roger and the rest. Sure wish they would check in. I do see some posting on other forums here. ![]() |

Linda- I think your yard is beautiful! All those trees are so nice and can't believe you still have leaves on them! You should see how dead things looks around here! After that foot of snow the first part of October there isn't much left. Well you know how many trees there aren't out here in Eastern Montana!!!

Hey gang,
Busy day for me here. This morning I was off to the dentist to get the perm. crown installed, and the dr. didn't like it...didn't go up to my gum line, so he removed a bit more up higher and remade the mold for it. Got a new temp, and hope this one will actually let me USE the left side of my mouth for more than smiling Anyways, I'm a bit sore, but I'll live.I haven't heard much about the school shooting, just a blurb on the radio. Not even sure exactly where it was. Will have to do some lurking to find out. Loretta, that quilt will look wonderful when you're done. Still wanna see pics tho! Did you get any rain out of this storm system? DH said we got just a little. Been a bit dry around here these last few weeks. Linda, NO!!! Not SNEAUX yet!! Too early. Nuff said. I don't buy toys for kids either, unless it's something educational. Money does always fit and once they're older you can get some better ideas. The hardest to buy for IMO is the under school age.Barb, that computer class would help me too. I know my Millenium pretty well to do what I need to do, but XP keeps me guessing at where things are! If we ever replace Old Faithful here, I'll have to buy the Dummies book Bigsky, nice to see you pop in here! What's up in your part of the country? Susan, glad you got all your stuff done, it sure is nice to have a cleared desk for a change huh? That vaseline trick of Linda's is a good one, performers use that too (dancers, etc) so even if they have a dry mouth they can smile easily. Julie, Jacki, check in when you have a chance!
