Rise and Shine Magnificient Ones!
Another goregous Fall day up here. The trees are still holding on to some leaves. It is pretty mostly gold, some green, and red out there. I plan to get my 60 minute Walk in today at least. The fresh air and calmness from the exercise is giving my mental health a much needed boost. My time for Me!DSisIL arrives tomorrow...nuf said. I made my mini goal today down to 140lbs! So 8lbs gone in 3 weeks! Have some Saturday chores to do and plan to do more exercise it sure is working. Wishing you all a content weekend. ![]() |

Susan! you beat me to the punch. Copy/pasting my message to yours.
Hi folks. Sorry I haven't been around but it's been a very busy couple of weeks. Working from 5:30 to 2pm then seems I can never just come straight home. Errands for this that and the other. Sheesh!! Anyway, it feels like the rains of Noah have hit us and there seems to be no relief in the near future. It is replenishing the moss on our backs quite nicely. What's a PNWesterner without moss?? I was thrilled the other morning....stepped on the scales and I have hit the 40lbs off mark!! I think I just may get my body back after all!! Now my mini goal is for the next 10lbs. I can do this!! Susan on the weight loss. WTGG! Ginny, I'm glad your new job is going well. I think the first couple months of a new job are the hardest. For me anyway. I need to get to that state of familiarity before I can relax and retain anything in my poor small brain. Barb...I like your "Wherever you are Be all there" saying. It goes with Wherever you go There you are!! Waving to every one and have a good day. |

to you both. Susun and Jackie. Great job of getting those pounds off!!!!!!!Good to hear from you Jackie. sounds like you have quite the busy life. We could use some of that rain. We have had the driest Oct on record. There are burning banns. We might get a little rain today. Barb what are you up to this weekend? Any visiting? Do you get to see much of your DD now that she is closer? Susun you sure are getting with the program. Your good well being shows thru for it. Glad you have gotten back on track. It is really windy here and most of the leaves have blown off of the trees and onto our grass. to those MIA.

Hey gang,
WTG Jacki and Susan!!! Y'all are doing a great job ![]() Had to go to the 'big' town for some stuff and got in on a quite a deal. Our Lowes culls out some of the boards that are warped, chipped, split etc, and they had a pretty nice buggyful that I bought. It's all pretty decent stuff for the most part, nothing that's just for a burn pile....... and I got $300 worth of lumber for $75! There was even some of what we needed in there LOL It was all 1x's and 2x's, various widths and lengths. Leaves have really turned here, starting to fall too. Got a show to watch, L8r y'all!

Holy cow time just got away from me and I haven't been here since Thursday.
It's great to learn that most of us are having wonderful weather. Ginny, Enjoy that Indian Summer. So tell me, just how cold does it get in your neck of the woods in Jan.? Don't you just LOVE to poke through the sale stuff at Lowe's? I always look for the yellow sale tags on stuff. You sure did get a great deal on that lumber. Jackie, congratulations on reaching 40 lbs gone. Susan, Good work on getting started and getting that weight off. Now just smile sweetly when the DSL from hell arrives. It's not worth getting bent out of shape over. Just stay clear of her as often as you can. Barb, Are you going to help us out with computer tips? That class sounds wonderful!! Loretta, I'm not patient enough to keep a journal. I just put the pictures on my hard drive or get them printed at Wally world. I'm not much for gadgets or learning them. Hope you get some much needed rain. Oh that is a great idea to use that almond/cinnamon crisp as a topping for a cobbler. Thanks. Hi to Julie and the other MIA's |
