Good Saturday Gang!

We have blue skies and sunshine, but way cooler temps this morning. Earlier when I let Oliver out the deck was covered with white frost, yesterday it was just frozen, so we are getting cooler up here.

8 weeks today will be Christmas Eve! I have started some of my Christmas cards for overseas mailing. No shopping yet!

I hope to get out for my WALK later this aft when the streets warm up!

Babysitting Ella for a few hours while they go to the early movie, they will be back before 9p.m.

Feeling good with the Exercise back in my life.

Hi Susun and those that follow

Susun sounds like the babysitting is creeping back in on you. I have not babysat for quite a while now and seem to just enjoy seeing Leah. My Dh did not really want me to be gone from here that much. Don't think I ever was anywhere near the amount of what you do for Ella and your DD. Maybe if Leah's mom was my daughter it might be different. Glad you are getting your exercise in and back to goal weight.

Barb is it raining there? Are you going to a "People" Halloween party? I have not been to one of those for quite a while. We did a lot of that when "younger" We had a lot of them and went to a lot of them. Drink, dance, bob etc etc Now I just eat my apples.

Linda did you get that bedroom painted? How did it all go. I love nice clean smell from fresh paint.

Julie I hear ya on the exercise over there on the golden. It is just a way of life for me and I think it has to be in order to keep the weight off and stay healthy. Im glad to hear you say that about deleting a post. I looked that site over several times. Just could NOT find where to delete the thing. My DS took my pic when I went to meet Adam for the first time. I have it bigger and will see about getting it developed at the WM photo store.

I am getting close to finishing Leah's quilt. Just 2 more squares to quilt and then get the binding on. I am ready to move to another project. Not looking forward to cleaning the boat though.

Loretta, I just had Ella from 5p.m. they were back at 8:30p.m.
and I had her here. I much prefer having her at my place.
I dont have that long dark drive home.

Hey y'all,

Sunny and low 60's for today, supposed to get up to 69 tomorrow and I hope they're right! This morning, the greenhouse was warmer than inside the house so it made a nice spot for my morning tea. Our internet was down for most of the day, finally came back up when I was in town getting groceries. Amazing how much you miss the 'puter when you can't get online! Made a Sam's run earlier today, DH went with me, then I went solo to our town for cigs and groceries. At WW I ran into my boss--small world

Loretta, love the pic of you and Adam! Definitely want to see a pic of the quilt when you get it done. You do such beautiful work! DH really likes his Vikings quilt, and it's about time to get it out of the cedar chest for winter...perfect for a snooze on the couch!

Linda, so how did the painting go? Is y'all's snow melted yet?

Julie, I knew I lost my broom somewhere LOL I would kid the guys at work if one of them was sweeping about messing with my 'ride'. I don't like the 'short days' either, and with the time change it will be even shorter for my waking hours. I'll have to get my butt in gear in the mornings and water the gh earlier now so everything will have time to dry well.

Jacki, my thoughts exactly. What are you so busy with today? Stop in when you have time!

Susan, good for you with the exercise and the in house babysitting. I know you enjoy Ella tremendously, and it's great you can have her visit you and not have to drive at night. Any word from DS on if he was affected by Wilma?

Off for a little lurk and catch up on my 'puter time......
