Tuesday the 25th for MVM's
Hey gang,
This cold weather we're having has got me wanting to hibernate. I'm making myself get out of the bed after 7-7 1/2 hours of sleep so I can stay on a schedule. It's been in the low 40's when I wake up these last couple days. So far we haven't had to turn the heat on in the house as it's been staying in the mid to upper 60's, but the greenhouse has required some heat. Started the orchids' side heater on Sunday night and the cactus' heater last night. Both are thermostatic controlled units, but if we get a good warm up soon we'll just turn them down to pilot anyways. Julie, glad Bo is back home and doing well. Any word on what the spot was? Spoil the little guy rotten, that's what they're there for! Susan, I need to do some crunches too, as well as the sideways ones. I bought the shorter 'stretchy tube thingy' at wallyworld since I can do some different exercises with it. My waist and belly have always provided me with the most challenge, and I want to get a headstart on them since I'm much more sedentary. We don't have a good place to walk around here (or I'd use ankle weights and powerwalk), our roads are too skinny and curvy with no shoulders. I'd get flattened the WRONG way! Linda, go ahead and brag about your team....who do you cheer for? Geez, I haven't had flannel jammies in YEARS! I have 2 warm flannel nightgowns that a SIL made for me years ago (found a pattern and actually made all of us gals nightgowns that were long enough!) but any store bought would be too short. Sigh. They'd be so comfortable to lounge around in. Even sweats are too short for me (including the mens!) Loretta, good for you sending that bill registered mail. Hopefully now they won't jerk you around, but be prepared. I don't have a very high opinion of insurance co's ability or willingness to pay out... used to work for one up north and they even tried to screw ME! Didn't succeed, but they tried ![]() Jacki, how are you feeling now? Has the mouth settled down enough for you to eat well? Hope you're not stuck on soft foods still! Off for a little lurk, then gotta get moving!

Hi to all
Ginny sounds like your house would be chilly for me. We usually keep our heat on 72 or so. Either Dh or I am ususally cold. The kids are always complaining about our warmth here. They keep their houses on the cool side like yours. DS says "grow old, grow cold" Not sure where he got that. Julie don't you eat cookies or other lc homemade goodies like that? How about cheese cake? It can be done with moderation. I eat my cookies once a week, but at that they are lc and home made. Need to check back later, on the road today for a short while and its about time to head out.
