CCM/MVM Wednesday the 19th

Mornin y'all,

This week I'm working 1-10, so my schedule is a bit off, not to mention the times I get hungry! Ah well, that will change as everything settles down and I get on a normal schedule. Today I'll do my first presentation, sat in on the one with the gal who's training me yesterday and she's going to cut me loose on it today. Still waiting for them to give me computer access (I guess corporate is a bit slow on that!) and then I can really start doing some things with that as well. Hope I get it quick before I forget everything from training!

Loretta, it's been really pretty here too, but our leaves haven't really started changing yet. The Gkids look great! I know what you mean about having more fun when they're older.... the little I've been around very small kids it seems like I never know what they need/want. Once they're walking and talking enough to where you can do some fun stuff is much easier on me, and I've always gotten along with teenagers the best. Have fun with the Carbquick!

Linda, hope that 1 lb stays gone for you. I've been doing some with my 'stretchy tube' thingy each night at work on lunch break. Between that and the 2 5lb freeweights I picked up at wallyworld I'm trying to not go soft now that I'm in a sedentary job. Your temps sound kinda chilly to me, we've been in the 70's during the day and mid to upper 50's at night. That will soon change, but I'm enjoying it while I can!

Julie, putting a hold on the books sounds like the best way to read all the new stuff! I've done that before and it worked out great (read as no money spent!). Right now I don't have time to read anything, been too busy with everything here and the new job.

Susan, hard to do, letting go, huh? Just gotta do it, and if you are required to be in their presence, don't let them draw you in. They will leave, so don't sweat it. Good for you getting back into the aerobics! Have fun with it! Also good job with the 3 lbs gone! You're doing great

Jacki, have you got the plants in the new greenhouse yet? Hope you're out of pain now with the bone graft... you've had quite a week of it I'm sure! Take some time off and check in with us!

I better get my butt in gear......

Hi Ginny and those that follow

You would think that "computer access" would be first on the list so you can access employees information. Do you bring your lunch or is there a cafeteria? Can you get any walking in (at lunch time)? Will you work 5 days a week?
Seems like the leaves around here were just green and all of a sudden they are all getting in the act to get red foliage.

I have quit putting books on hold at the library, since town is a trip. I just wait for my turn when it gets off the list. I do occasionally run into some new issues and grab them up.

Got some groceries and Tulip Bulbs today. Going to try the bulbs one more time.

Later folks

Hi Ginny, Loretta and those that follow!

Feeling good, I had a relaxation massage today for an hour. Made me feel like a new woman. So energized and confident! I should remember to do this more often.

I walked for 295 minutes last week. I did that aerobics class last night, woke up the old muscles for sure, even though it was a gentle class. I had a soak in the tub so they are not screaming too loud. I did walk round my crescent block 3x when I got home just to get the fresh air, seems to help me get off to sleep.

Ginny,
Hope you get computer access soon before you forget the training. They probably just really want to make sure you are not going to give away the company secrets!
You sound like you have an exercise plan in order for the sedentary job.Good fer you!

Loretta,
I can see why you love to enjoy your Gkids, they are so adorable. What a gorgeous little family.
When you have finished making those goodies with Carbquick do share those recipes. I do miss Shawnee!
Good Luck with those Tulip bulb planting, do you cover them with rabbit food or bone meal. I heard that keeps the critters from eating the bulbs.

Thanks for the congrats and encouragement with my Second time around!
I sure need that.

HUGS to All,

SuSUN

Hi gang,

So far that one lb has stayed gone. Let's hope the other 6 or 7 go soon too.
Just sat down with a cup of coffee and am still waiting for the "nitwit", Gerard. He lost his mind today and signed up for a Hang Gliding class. OY

Ginny, My God!! Wouldn't you think that the first thing they gave you would be computer access?
How do you like that stretchy tube?

Loretta, those grand kids of yours are precious!!

I have yet to put books from the library on hold. You mean it's a PITA?

Susan, glad you enjoyed that massage. I LOVE them and haven't had one in some time. Gotta make an appointment.

Fresh air does both the mind and body good. Enjoy it before it gets too cold.

I"m off to take a shower and read a bit.
