Monday for the MVM/CCMs Oct 17

HI to all

Finally might get around to some yard work this week and I want to wash and wax the vechicles before the bad weather shows up.
It is suppose to be in the upper 70s all week with sunshine.

Waiting on my Carbquik to come this week, I had better hurry with that yard work.

Susun it is time for a pic of Ella.

Linda has the rain quit for now? Did you get a titania scale? Or just a regular. I have a digital now and it works great and I can see the numbers.

Julie I do updates too but wonder if I am getting the right one. Sometimes it gets confusing to me. But they are important, sometimes will prevent a virus.

Ginny I caught you post of Saturday's thread. Hope things go well for you and they don't stump you too often at first. Sounds like an interesting sort of job. But lots of paper work.

Hey Jackie are you involved with a project. Green house done? Bone graft healing? School lunches going ok.

Hey to Barb, hope to see you return soon.
Hey to all of our other MIAs.

Morning Loretta a and all who follow...miss you Roger!

Loretta, wash and wax the car? Boy, where do you get all your energy from? Now, I'd buy you a ticket to come do mine for me!

This update was automatic. Linda, no, I've always had it sceduled for 10:00 every morning but never had it have to reboot on me. I looked on Microsoft and there were 7 updates I believe. Wow! I still went ahead and did my reading but just had to stop when it had to reboot. If I go to windowsupdate.microsoft.com and have them scan my computer (takes just a minute) I only do the "critical" updates. Don't do that much anymore as the scheduled one picks up all of those I think.

SuSun, I agree, another updated pic of Ella is in order.

Linda, I got a titania scale last Christmas and used it maybe 2x. I like the old digital one with BIG numbers!

Off to run errands today. Read and read as that darn library says I have more books on hold. Geez, you'd think I'd quit "holding" them wouldn't you. This way I get all the new books coming out though. Later....

Hi Gang,

Had a bit of a slip today with DD, she is planning on having her Aunt from the UK stay over for the 2 weeks that we will be in Florida. She is DH's sister. I don't particularly like her and dont like them mixing, she can be quite manipulative when she wants something, which is a free air fare and accommodation for 2 weeks or so. DD just wants extra company around the house, as her DH will be away a lot, so she figures it will be easy company and they can fly her over on air miles. The "letting go" task is a tough one for me. Don't know why it makes me so mad that she is coming for free ride. She is a big wine drinker.
I understand DD's reason's and she can't seem to find anyone else. She likes this odd ball Aunt and cant see the manipulative reasons behind her "sweetness." It just makes me sick to my stomach.
I guess I dont want someone to step into my position, as the helper, wisewoman, etc... Even though I have given all that extra running up. I guess the "letting go" has come to bite me in the b$m! I think I have a bad case of jealousy, do you think?

Doing well on my eating and drinking the WATER, no walk today though but I have been almost every day now for 3 weeks. I was in the office this afternoon, so kinda busy there.

The high proteins have curbed my appetite and I have noticed my portions are not getting smaller.

2lbs gone this morning, so it is a start.

Guess this is Monday vent day!

Hi everyone,

Got that last filling fixed today but the darn dentist scratched the corner of my mouth with one of the instruments and it hurts like HELL!! Nothing serious, just like a little paper cut but still He felt terrible.

Loretta, boy I'm jealous of that weather. It's been in the 50's around here during the day and still cloudy and rainy at times. Tomorrow it is supposed to clear up a bit and be in the 60's. We shall see. I need to wash and wax the Corolla. He did the Subaru.

Naw, I just got a digital scale. At least I can see the numbers. I do like the old fashioned Dr. scales but they are very expensive and so big.

Anything we order from Carbquick usually comes by UPS in two days. It's amazing!!
LOL Just found my old box of the stuff and should do some baking. I'm in the mood for Chicken and low carb biscuits.

Julie, Love my digital and the big numbers too. LOL I hate to wear glasses just to read my weight.

LOL I'm so heavy into reading lately that I hardly have time to get on the computer. I LOVE it.

Susan, Susan,Susan, yes you do have a very hard time letting go. It's really not healthy. She has her own life and her own family. If she wants to be close to an aunt you don't approve of, let it go and don't say anything. She is an adult and can take care of herself.
If you interfere too much, she may push you out of her life. There is nothing worse than an interfering mother or mother in law. Been there, done that with my first MIL. UGH!!

Waving to the rest of our group.
