Oct 10 Columbus Day for the MVMs/CCMs

Well Happy Columbus Day or is that Presidents Day now.

Not much to report in with today. Cooler temps, but no rain. Clouds etc, but no rain. I am getting tired of watering the flowers and they are about to go and don't look too well now. Maybe I'll just let them go.

Enjoy the day Susun. IS that day celebrated on a certain day of the month or does it go by a schdule? Our Thanksgiving Day is always the 3rd Thusday in the month of November. It also makes for a 4 day weekend for most of those that work and is the kick off for CHristmas Shopping.

Check with you all later on.

Hi Loretta and all who follow. Where the heck is everyone anyway

Spent the day taking my mom for her colonoscopy but she did fine and doesn't need to have another one for 5 years.

I think we have the Rav sold to a little Mennonite girl who will come tomorrow night with a certified check and her own plates. I'm going to cry. I LOVED that car.
Gerard wants to keep the old Corolla until it dies since he knows how it's been cared for the past 8 years. Oh well, it gets great gas mileage.

Loretta, it's been raining here too and rather cool. Nice weather to start thinking about baking some low carb goodies, eh? DH even made some of his lc pancakes last night and a cheese cake a couple of days ago.

Susan, let us know about your Thanksgiving day celebration and customs. What did you have good to eat that was low carb?

Julie, get your butt back in here. We miss you, Roger, Shawnee and the rest.

Ginny, hope the new job training is going well.

Gotta go give Gerard a turn on this but will peek in later.

Hi Y'all. I survived.

I thought the surgery would never end but it did. I have an upper jaw full of stitches and packing. It went well and I didn't get the swelling I was afraid would happen. I've keep ice packs on my face most of the afternoon. I'm sure that helps. Anyway...thanks for the well wishes.

See you tomorrow.
