Sunday, Oct 9 for the MVM/CCM

Just a quick run through to say hi.
I just put a ham in the oven and will fix some mock mashed and green beans for dinner.

Have a good day everyone.

Hi Linda and those that follow.

That supper of yours sounds delicious. I sure like ham for supper. Tonight we are having some home made chicken soup. One of our favorites.

Sure hope I am finished at the sale. I went early this am around 7:30 to help put out the goods. Then worked the booth until 11. Not too many sales early this am but they were picking up as church let out. Sales were brisk yesterday, they sold out of corn bread and hot beans, sold lots of the craft items and most of the candy. I forgot what the total from Sat was but it was high again. Today they are selling Italian beef sandwiches and coffee. I told the gal if she needs me to help clean up to give me a call, but I'd rather not go back.

What are you all up to today. Ginny, you won't have to work on the weekends, will you?

Susun will you have Turkey for Canada day? Is that like out Thanksgiving? Yes I sure agree with you on having the house clean. It just makes you feel better inside knowing that it is "ready" for company. Will the dinner be at your place?

Later folks

Hi to all of the MIAs and the lurkers
Jackie I'll be thinking about you tomorrow. Hope all goes well.

Hi Ladies,

It sure was a cool one up here today. I did manage to get my 45 minute WALK in though. I am finding it a peaceful way to get some physical activity, along with the fresh air and sunlight. Guess that's why I am managing to sleep so well these days.

I think it helps catching up with all my stuff too, as I am not running over to DD's or minding Ella here as much now. That feeling of being "on call" at short notice made me rebell to save my sanity.
They have a babysitter now, so she helps twice a week.

Linda,
I agree with Loretta that dinner sounds delicious!
You must be having the same temps as us too! In the 40'sF? Brrrrrr!

Loretta,
Yes, it is exactly the same Thanksgiving up here. DD did the Turkey and all the fixings today. I am cooking a roast of Pork tomorrow as it really is tomorrow Thanksgiving for the harvest etc...
The Canadian growing season is much shorter than yours, hence the early Thanksgiving.
Glad you had great sales figures at the Church sale.

WE all have so much to be Thankful for. One big one, for me is that I managed to find YOU people here. I am very thankful for that.

Waving to the rest of our gang!
