Hi Jackie and those that follow,

back Linda, it has been quiet around here at the CCMs post lately.
Glad you enjoyed your vacation and your weight stayed EXACTLY the same. That is a very good thing.

We did enjoy Ryan's, but I found it a little different at first. The fact that you pay your bill before going to your seats. They only had that one steak to chose from, it was sirloin. It wasn't bad, but I expected fresh shrimp and not that heavily breaded Popcorn stuff. You could get as much steak as you wanted and the salad bar had lots of lc choices. There were 10 of us counting adults and DGKs. It was an enjoyable dinner without much stess. Dh went along and I was glad that he did.

Ginny will you be taking some time off between jobs. Will you be on the computer at the new place?

Got to get busy on that Peanut Butter Fudge for the annual Fall Festival. I'll be making that and some corn bread. They want to sell corn bread and beans at another booth of ours a Craft Booth.

Later Folks

Hey all,

Another Monday, but my last one as Dock Goddess! My last day there will be Wednesday and I'll be lucky to get out without shedding a tear or two, lotsa good people I'll be leaving. I start the new job on Thursday. I could have taken a couple days off, but I figured I'd just go ahead and jump in without a break in the $$, even though I'm being paid for my unused vacation. I'll just put that back and have it for the holidays I'll miss payment on until my 90 days is met on the new job. I will be on the same shift so there won't be any change in my schedule except I will have an hour lunch break now instead of eating on the fly. I'll have to take part of that hour and walk or something, since I'll be at a desk and won't have the daily activity I'm accustomed to...I don't wanna get soft!

Mornin' Jacki! Did you enjoy your lazy weekend?

Loretta, the Ryans by us also does the breaded popcorn shrimp but I'm pretty fond of dead cow, so I get by quite nicely with their steaks I do love the salad bar there, and usually they have some baked salmon on the hot bar as well. Glad you and DH enjoyed your dinner, great idea to do it at a restaraunt since you DON'T have to do any dishes!

Better get my shower etc and start moving for the day,

Hi everyone, been finding it strange but I've been going to bed by 1 AM and getting up around 8:30. Boy what a change of pace that is for me. LOL maybe I'll stop being such a night owl, eh?

Jackie, how is the job going? Have you done anymore work on the house? Gee, 20 questions but I haven't been on line much and feel like I'm in a void.

Loretta, The Ryans that we ate at had cooked shrimp but you had to peel them yourself. Did they have them at your Ryans?

Most of the buffets are pay first, then you just eat at your own pace and leave when you want to. I LOVE buffets. No waitress to bother you every few minutes, no waiting for food and the tip is much smaller.

Ginny, it's going to be difficult to leave the friends you have made at work but you will make new ones.
Walking on your lunch hr. is a great idea. You may even get a chance to use the computer or something fun for part of it too.

Missing the others and wish them well.

Later, I'm off to read.
