Good SUNday to one and all!
One of my favorite days of the week! It is gorgeous again up here a lovely sunny day out there. I walked over to sick friends home this morning delivered some goodies and walked back, so feel I did something towards this battle of the bulge. Ginny, Yes, Oliver has met Betsy, it took him 3 meetings to not go crazy barking at her all the time. She is so playful, he just tries to avoid her but at least he is quiet now. Big socialization problems for him. DD is not going back to work but she says she just needs a break to get the groceries and other errands here and there done, so she needs help a couple of afternoons a week and Friday nights they like to go out, so not too bad if they can provide some work for someone. NOT ME! Loretta, Those prayers are working I am beginning to feel more like my old self. It was sure dragging last week couldnt seem to bounce back, but I have felt better the last two days...the power of prayer! Jacki, We all get cranky and it is Sooooooo good to let off steam! Waving to the rest of our gang! SuSUN |

Hi Susun and those that follow
My favorite day of the week too Susun. I sure do like Sunday's especially since I have retired. I seemed to have spent a lot of them at work. That pup is probably to frisky for Oliver. How are Ella and Betsy getting along? Leah has a playmate with their dog Sydny. I have forgotten the breed of dog that it is, but he is a small frisky thing too. They had to put him on a diet. Glad to hear that you are feeling better. Sometimes we just get that depressed feeling for not even a very good reason. It just shows up. Guess the rest of the bunch are watching football? Maybe. We are going out for dinner this evening with 2 of my DSs and their families. No special occasion except that the kids from Evansville are over this way visiting someother friends also. We are going to Ryans Steak House. I have not been there before. Hugs to all. Enjoy the REST of your Sunday.

Hey gang,
Well, I was watching football, but our team sucks this year....lost to the Falcons *ouch* Having a quiet day pretty much, had to make a wallyworld run and finished off the wardrobe purchases with a few short sleeved sweaters. I should be good to go now, at least until the cold weather shows up! Loretta, you should LOVE Ryans, they usually have quite a few items for us LCers, including a steak buffet. They have a pretty extensive salad bar too. Hope you enjoy your dinner out, especially with the kids! Susan, IMO it's really a good idea to have a sitter watch a young child while mom/dad is grocery shopping etc. Kids can catch so many bugs in stores, and they get tired quicker than the errands get done. It's frustrating for both parent and child, and sometimes earsplitting to the other patrons. Kids will learn how to be good in public, but when they're really little I think it's just better for all to keep them home with a sitter. The adult can get a lot more done in a shorter time period, and with winter coming up, I can't imagine your DD will want to take Ella out in the cold like that. So, what's the rest of the group doing? I'm fixin' to make some more soaps and incense! L8r,

Hi gang, we are home and tired so this will be short.
We had a wonderful time, wonderful weather and wonderful seafood but didn't take many pictures at all. Guess it's just getting old. LOL My cousin travels the world and is home only for a month or two at a time and NEVER even takes his camera along. Anyhoo, my weight stayed EXACTLY the same, even though I had a piece of HOMEMADE Key Lime Pie I just said FLU*K it and went for it. Susan, it's great to hear that your DD is finally getting someone else to help while she does her thing. You raised your kids and shouldn't have to do it again. Hope she gets someone good and reliable. Ginny, I'm thrilled for you getting that new job. Can't wait to hear all about it. What will your hours be? Loretta, we found a Ryan's in Martinsburg, West Va. and it was pretty good. I didn't have the steak because I'm really fussy about steak but there are plenty of items for someone on low carb. ENJOY!Waving to the rest of our gang. I'm off to finish unpack, pay some bills and kick back. |
