Mornin' y'all,

Thanks for your good thoughts re my new job. It will be hard to hang up the steel toes, but it's time to move on. Gotta get into something that I will be able to do for the next 20-25 years! Now I just need to figure out how I'll replace the exercise I got at work. Lemme get into the swing of the job, and then we can decide on a new 'title' for me LOL Never know what part of it will be my forte

Better get my butt in gear, hope all are having a wonderful day!

Hi to Ginny and all that follow.

Ginny when will you start your new job. I think you said that it is 3 to 11, right? If that is the case you won't have to adjust to getting up early. Weekends off, right?
Will you have to dress up? I think will be a good move for you in the long run. They sure are going to miss you at the dock.

Not much going on here in Ky today. Cooler temps with low humidity. I want to get my butt in gear and get out and trim up the shrubs today. I need to start crossing things off of my "to do" list.

Hi Ya Ginny, Loretta and all those CCM's that follow!

Still taking it easy up here. It was my day off today, so I went to the dentist for a check and cleaning. All fine 'cept a gum recession from too vigorously brushing when I'm in a hurry I use a regular toothbrush instead of my electric.

Gotta slow done and take the time.

So the hygenist has me booked to see a periodontist for a gum graft. I started taking Vit C doubled up the dose today in an attempt to help the gum heal and I will be very careful not to touch it much on the left side till I go in two weeks. It may have grown over, who knows!

DD must be awfully lonesome after all my running over there and talking on the phone. I have brought it to an abrupt halt to give me a complete rest.
I spoke with her yesterday and she said she was interviewing some nannies today and tomorrow. Thank goodness!

Ginny,
You will have to get a new office work wardrobe and trade the steel toes for pumps and nylons!

Sounds like you are having great weather cooling down so you can get that yard work done. Did you give those shrubs a haircut today?
