Hi again everyone,
Barb, LOL I love all the descriptions of what CCM could stand for. ![]() Beach is great and today we are going ot yet another light house just north of here. OMG CONGRATULATIONS GINNY!! I know you wanted that job and it's great that you finally got it. Loretta, we want pictures of Leah. I bet she will be so darn CUTE!!! Susan, Just do a search for Atlantic Beach,NC and you will see exactly where we are. It's just south of there. Glad you are finally considering leaving the bringing up baby to mom. You just need to be a grandmother, not a full time maid and nanny. After all, you brought up yours and it's time for your dd to do the same. Waving to everyone else. Time on this darn computer is almost up. |

cost control mommas
Just thought I would throw one more ccm in the pot. Cute idea Barb. I sure will get a pic of Leah in her costume. For the mean time I left my camera in Evansville, 2 hrs from here at my other DS's when I went to the soccer game. I told him to hang on to it when I go back for the new DGbaby that will be born on Oct 12. C section. Congrats Ginny on getting that office job. It sure will be nice for you not to be out in the elements with those trucks and at the dock. Darn, we will have to come up with a new "title" for you. Paper work Princess, or some such. Susun so good to hear from you. Guess you found us regardless of our new name. Glad to hear that you are going to cut back (or try to) at DDs. It can be just too much with work and all. Dh might be missing you too. Mine sure does. How is your DH doing? How is the weight for you these days? Linda glad you have been checking in with us. Will you be on your way home soon? Busy day for me at meetings this am and helping to count the money at church. I spilled more water than I got to drink today. Good thing we hadn't gotten to the money yet. We are getting ready for the fall candy booth, plus a craft sale plus they want to sell corn bread and beans. It is a 3 day long festival and it will be a lot of work. I don't mind helping out some but I've got a lot of things I'd rather be doing. Later folks to all

Hi There CCM's,
Whatever that means! Barb, Thanks for trying to give some "spainations" as Rickie would say! Are ya back at the grind stone agin? Loretta, Cost Control Mommas yikes! Your last sentence rings a clear bell to me. (I don't mind helping out some but I've got a lot of things I'd rather be doing.) This is just how I feel with DD. I tried to help but became exhausted. Yes, I am trying so far so good, she has left me alone since Friday. Thanks for asking DH is about the same no improvement in the weakness-fatigue in his lower legs, his spirits are fine. He has been adjusting by sitting down to do his projects...mountain has to come to mohammed now. My weight is still up there, lost a fair bit, then let go again. Linda, Thanks for the tip on the map search. I'll check it out. Wise words: (You just need to be a grandmother, not a full time maid and nanny. After all, you brought up yours and it's time for your dd to do the same.) I really want this, but easier said than done, but I am trying. Detachment from the codependency relationship is proving a hard one. I am doing it but feeling in a fog. Working thru it! I want my freedom without the guilt.Ginny, Watsat? You gotta promotion? WTGG!Office OrKID...yes we need to find another cute name for our Dock Goddess! Where are the rest of our gang? Waving to y'all. SuSUN Last edited by SuSUN : 09-27-2005 at 06:50 PM. |

Ginny,
I just read your post of last night. THANK YOU for Your statement: (Try picking a day during the week that you keep as a Susan day, and stick to it.) Reverse it. I want to make everyday a Susan day and one day for DD and Ella right now. I feel too pooped to offer anything else. Great going on the new job! You deserve it! SuSUN |
