CCM monday

Hey! I posted on yesterday's thread last night...it disappeared.

Anyway sorry for being MIA but we've been working our a**es off. The greenhouse is more than half done. We have 2 1/2 walls done and waiting to put gravel down for a floor. Then we'll finish off the final wall. Leaving it open to make it easy to dump wheelbarrow loads of gravel. Yesterday...with just the 2 1/2 walls done it got to 100 in there!! It was 78 outside. WooHOO I think it will work!!

Here are two photos. It measures 10 x 10

Waving at everyone. Have a very good day and I'll ttyl.

Mornin' y'all,

Cooler and got some rain! We sure needed it, but looks like it will clear off today and the sunshine will come back out. Good thing is it seems now the 90+ days are done so I won't roast as much at work.

Barb, yep, we're from Up Nort! Both of us were born and raised in MN (hence our fanaticism for the Vikings) but we got south as quick as we could LOL! This week I'm 12-1 on the football picks for the work pool, hope it brings me up in the standings!

Jacki, WOOHOO on the greehouse! Looking great! I do have a ? for you, how are you going to vent it? I know you're gonna just love having that to play in, makes such a difference when the plants get their natural light etc. And it's good for us humans to get it too.....I'm sure you'll spend plenty of time out there!

Hope all are having a good day, time for me to get movin'!

Good morning to this early bunch of risers.

Jackie that greenhouse will be just grand. You can be growning stuff year round. What will you focus on once you get it up and going? Pereinnals, veggies? Orkids? Do your winters get very cold there? Your weight will continue to drop with all of that work. Are those some mums sitting in from of the gh?

Ginny I did get to see Leah and show her the quilt I am working on for her. Good thing I brougt it there so we could "try it on the bed". It was too long so I am taking off the bottome row. She sure is cute now saying words and babbling. Just when I said I think I'll get going, she pops up with her "bye, bye".
We will be in the 80s most of the week.

Barb watching that foot ballsounds like a nice thing to do on a Sunday if you can relax and not get too worked up with the game. DH spends time talking to the teams quite a bit. He does not have any favorite but just likes a good game. Little Leah is going to be a TITANS cheerleader for Halloween. Hope I can get a pic of her.

Have a nice Monday all, to ya.

Oh Loretta, a TITAN's cheerleader? That sounds soooooo cute. You MUST take a picture for the rest of us!

I think everyone needs a passion and something to get excited about -- for my mom (83 years young) and many others this is sports. They can shout at the TV, carry the ball, tell their friends, etc. My mom looks forward to this every weekend.

Jacki, the greenhouse looks great as a work in progress. You sure do put a lot of time and effort into what you have and your property. After you fix it all up........I''ll come and buy it. How's work?

sounds like you are finding some peace and quiet Linda. The beach........green with envy!

Hi There CCM's!

Some one had better 'splain what CCM stands fer? Guess this is what happens when you dont attend the BB as often as you would like to.

I have been Soooooooo busy, trying to cut back with DD but of course she is resisting, who wouldn't for free help...but e'nuffs, enuff! Whew, it is getting to be really hard work being a Granny.

I have really trimmed my workload down to just two groups a week now, which is perfect for my energy levels right now.

Jacki,
WOW! on that really cute GH, I can smell that heavy air right now. I remember ours in England my Father growing tomatoes, as it was too cold to grow them outdoors.
YOU guys are Sooooooo very productive...dont let no grass grow under ya feet eh? Where do you find all that energy!
You absolutely blew me away last year with those decorative chairs-planters!

Ginny,
You are a hard working gal fer sure, checkin' in here before you go!
I have a group tomorrow and another on Thursday, so I am keeping out of trouble.
Glad its cooling down for you, it has been way cooler up here especially overnight, the days are comfortable with temps around 70F lots of scattered rain then the sun comes out.

Linda,
So glad you can check in. I will have to get the maps out to figure out where you are! It's easier to ask DH, he usually knows where most places are. He is sleeping right now, so I hope I dont forget to ask him tomorrow.
Have a wonderful time visiting and touring.

Loretta,
Yes, do get some pics of little Leah in her Halloween outfit.
My DH watches soccer in our basement on Saturday mornings, live from the UK. He is quite loud when they score a goal, I can hear him upstair through the vents. Keeps him out of mischief.
I guess it is good for the soul to get passionate about a team.

Wavin to Shawnee, Julie, Liz and all our MIA's

Me again!

Y'all, I will be giving up my title of Dock Goddess on Oct. 5th! Back a while ago I had applied for a *gasp* office job at another company, still 2nd shift, and today they offered it to me. Money will eventually be MUCH better, now will be enough better to start with, and the top out will be alot more than I would ever see in my current company. It will be quite an adjustment to not be on the floor anymore, but I've done enough office work so it will most likely be an easy transition. It's time for me to consider how hard it is on my back to drive that lift over rough floors! I'm pretty pleased that I've got this new opportunity. The guys at work were pretty shocked/amazed that I will be leaving, but all seem to be happy for me to have a chance at improving my circumstances etc.

Loretta, Leah will be so cute as a Titans cheerleader! Glad you checked sizing on the quilt before you got too far along! That will certainly be a keepsake!

Linda, glad to see you check in, and that you're having a good time! Pop in as time allows.

Susan, good for you cutting back. You need some time for yourself too, so don't let them run you ragged! Try picking a day during the week that you keep as a Susan day, and stick to it.

Barb, I sure hope when I'm in my 80's I'll still be able to watch AND understand football. Heck, by then I should even know my formations better and my quarterbacking will improve.

Waving to all, hope everyone has a good night.
