I need to contact a lawyer, I think, just for some advice. Marcia's local sister came yesterday and took her over to her house for part of the day. That was a very welcome relief. I don't think Marcia can be just "put" in housing somewhere she needs supervision, I think. Who will make that decision for us. Linda I love the glass table tops new look. I have some you could work on for me. Good idea. Welcome back Julie, glad you had a nice trip. Sam is Marcia's son. A now medically disharged army man with a lung problem that he got in AFganastan or Iraq. DH'S DGS. Ginny sounds like you enjoyed your extra day off. Well, 2 posts again this morning! Since this was the first one by 2 min. I'll post here.
Not much going on this morning. I got the house clean yesterday and waiting for our friends to arrive for a BBQ. It is sunny with hopes of about 75. Wonder if we'll make that. Loretta, someone who has a power of attorney (medical) probably is the only one to be able to put her where she can be taken care of. Sounds like she needs lots of looking after. The attorney should be able to help you there. What a dilemma. Won't your DH make a decision on it? Off to enjoy the 4th everyone. Hope yours is nice too. USA!

Hey y'all, Had a quiet day here, and a relatively quiet night for all the fireworks that could have been shot off. I think most of the neighbors either went to watch in town or just got antsy last night and did theirs then. Not too much noise here, and that's a good thing. Went to WW today for a few items and took the time to look for long shorts. I know, a bit of an oxymoron Anyways, I'm tired of either sticking to the forklift seat (pleather) or sliding on it depending on the sweat accumulation, so I took a page from Linda's playbook and looked in the *OMG* boys dept.!!! I actually started off in the mens, but they only go to 30 waist and that just WON'T work. Found that a boy's 18 regular leaves me some wiggle room in case of shrinkage, and the cool think is they have an adjustable waist without being the dreaded elastic. Gotta wash them tonight (3 pairs) so they can get their test run tomorrow. Sure hope they don't shrink much, especially in length and defeat my purpose!Loretta, good luck tomorrow with the atty. Does anyone have a PAT over Marcia? It doesn't sound like it would be difficult to get one if not. Did you get to see any fireworks? One year we went to a lake where they had professionals put on a show. We watched from some friends' pontoon boat. Julie, now that you're done cleaning your house, mine could use some work.... I'll trade you some sunny days and warm temps LOL!!! Linda, WW had the Faded Glory shorts for $10.92 (plus tax) so I think I did pretty good. Good pockets in them too, I gotta have that! Your box of goodies is almost complete, I'm just waiting on the last two batches of soap to cure out and they can be tagged/bagged. I'll get the box in the mail tomorrow on my way in to work. Zip, have fun riding the bike, I used to enjoy that but my knees won't take it any more. That, and if I were to ride a bike around here I'd probably get run over as we don't have shoulders on our roads When I was a kid, a 10 speed was THE mode of transportation and I put many miles on my ol' Sears bike.Shawnee, have the fireworks subsided any? How does the General do with them? Some dogs aren't bothered at all, ours will scold the noise, but DSisIL's older GSD is terrified of them. Yesterday's pup favors the build of the Ridgeback but she is not fully grown/filled out yet. No ridge, but when she gets fired up just the spine hairs will stand up as if she had a ridge. Her face isn't squared off so much, so that's where we think the hound type may come in. She is brindled and has a big star on her chest, but mostly a 'boxer brown' color. Sure is hard to tell with a rescue pup what she really is, but she has a strong play drive although not as hyper as the typical boxer can be. Hi to all our MIA's! I'm off to lurk a bit.....
