Ass dragging this morning. I took a rare Temazepam 15 mg. to sleep...<ehhh > not much benefit but I feel groggy this morning. It's all the VA gives. Took third and last Zithromax...I've become an instant fan. Loretta, my fantasy doctor, Dr.Zip prescribed that Tri-pak for me the instant he heard my friend say: "Do you WANT some!"

THanks on that drug plan info...I'll attack it as soon as my head starts working. Unfortunately I tried a couple other government sources and they all talk double talk, almost as if they are trying to HIDE more than they are trying to reveal...the damned HALF TRILLION DOLLARS must have bought consumers SOMETHING...or was it just a handover of tax money to the pharmaceutical manufacturers. I am beginning to fear the latter.

Rhabdomyolysis is a horrible muscle musclee destruction brought on as a rare side effect of certain drugs. THe waste products of the muscle breakdown then overwhelm and destroy the kidneys. Both the Lipitor and the Zithromax are capable of causing the condition and both TOGETHER is really playing Russian Roulette with TWO loaded barrels. C.difficili is a bug (clostridium difficili) that lives in the intestines. Some antibiotics kills all its compoetitors and let it propogate profusely...it causes the most horrible debiilitating, and sometimes fatal, diarrhea.

Today we would like to get over to NYC for lunch somwhere if the showers time themselves correctly...I'm getting cabin fever. Warm sticky goo continues.

Whenever will this miserable heat and humidity leave us? A week of this crap is entirely too much.

I forgot that I have a PFT scheduled this afternoon, darn it all. My lung function is going to be bad because of this humidity and heat. Oh well.

The scale doesn't want to budge, darn it all. At least it's not going up.

Here I am, I feel so tired.

SS visit went fine the gal had no answers for us except that she will submit the forms. Please, wait for about 90 days for an answer. In the mean time no state assisted medical aid for M. I did get some free clothes at the local thrift store for her and a promise of $50 toward medical, if needed. They were a nice church group. Methodists. I have some more leads to track down for job help for the disabled. That gal comes to town once a week on Tuesdays. There is some zero housing available for $50 a month but M has no transportation and she would be there alone.

No more for today. Catch up with all of you soon, I hope. YOu are in my thoughts and I am keeping up with your goings on.

Gosh Loretta, you really did bite off a lot I hope you can get some help from her sibs too. It's just unfair to you.

Roger, lung function is the same but he did say that since I stopped the weeds, it may improve. We shall see. I see him again in Nov. He does want me to up the steroid for the asthma. I just don't know if I want to.

Shipping costs for that Indian site are high but you can order a lot for that one price. E mail them and ask questions. They are quite helpful.

As some of y'all cool down, we're gonna heat up here
Hit 80 this afternoon, GAWD, it felt good on my ol' bones.(and the Chuckster's too) LOL, I was sox-less for a few hours.


Another Dr appt day for me, the stirrup thing, and full physical.


Doc said parts of me are in suprisingly good shape for an ol' broad . Told him its cause I'm a Mixed Breed Mongrel, not a Pedigree....and mixed breeds are strong. Upon hearing my "mix" he said "Good stock"..I replied, "Ya, peasant stock."

Gotta have a lil spot removed from high inner- thigh in a couple weeks, and also get an Echo heart thing done. (Don't get excited)

Loretta... You've got a tough row to hoe. Here, we have several sheltered workshops and group homes, and good interagency-networking. Sure you find the right services ya need.
