MVM SATURDAY, May 14

Hi kiddies,

Up at the crack of dawn as happens every time I restrict my food intake. Yesterday I di SOOO well til 6 PM when I made Stouffers' Lasagna (the BIG 21 ounce package EACH...780 calories) and then unfortunately the last of 2 quarters of a Peppridge Farm Layer cake (500 cal). Since it was a VERY low food day up to that point, the total was still at 2030 which is good. Anyhoo, down 4 pounds this week...and there's no more cake in the freezer!

Ginny,
Gay men NEVER care what they look like IN clothes...just OUT, or in Speedos!

Well nothing much exciting has happened so far today and I am going to be Home Alone because Bob is doing a "day off" and leaving for Opera standing room tickets at the Met at 6:30 AM. I will do hard gym, a little housecleaniing, maybe install MS OFFICE, and find 15 strangers for an ORGY <oh well, the last was a daydream >

Oh, neighbor on the side apartment moved out last week...that was the Indian (OOOOHHHM, not WOO-WOO!) boarding house with a different set of faces every second day. Good riddance. Maybe I should rethink my good riddance because they WERE quiet and that is a nice plus.

I'll be back later...enjoy the weekend everyone.

Morning Zip and rest to follow later.......

Taking off today so behave and will check in Sunday evening! NO extra guests while housecleaning -- a lot of women like to clean nude (just a rumor I've heard).

Waving to all.......

Hey kids,

A dull day today...oh well, it helps to recognize the EXCITING ones. Light belly work at the gym...crunches and inclined sit-ups...oh and PECS!
I made the STOUFFER'S DOUBLE STUFFED PEPPER tonight...really tasty and the two peppers total only 360 calories. Unfortunately, they are not as filling as the LASAGNA so I;d better be carful. We have some yummy Passover Matzoh still and the big square footers come in at 110 calories and with a Tbsp of Smart Beat at only 20 more, it's a nice snack!
I hope to bring the day in at 1900 on the nose.

Susun,
Glad you found us...I thought you were travelling like you-know-who.

I've spent entirely too much time on theis computer today and am going to shut it down soon, but as soon as I do, I find a movie and I MUST find out who a particular actor or actress is and I have to reboot--Never fails. Of course you ALL know about www.imdb.com ...I couldn't LIVE without it.

If anyone has a magic wand, can you PLEASE create somethind decent on TV but I just saw a FASCINATING show on PBS called HOLY COW: The history of the Cow. If it pops up, watch it, you won't be sorry!

Yes, Roger,

I too am glad I found you Guys!

I am babysitting agin at DD's, they have gone out for dinner Mediteranian (sp). DH is BBQing some pork and we have a nice salad and wine.
Only 1 glass for me with diet soda.

I have just put Ella to bed, she went no problem. She was tired out now she is walking around with the furniture.

Remember this time last year when we had the bet on her arrival date.
I think Roger was the closest with July 10th and she came on the 11th.

Shawnee,
So sorry to hear you are still bothered with those hives and itchies.

Wavin to y'all and promise to catch up on all the back posts.

Hi hunnies, I'm home.
We had a wonderful time touring the battle fields in Gettysburg after buying a "self tour" tape, and then decided to take a National Park Bus tour too. That was fantastic!! Unfortunately we had to come home. I NEED at least a week or two in any vacation place.
I'll try to post a picture of me on top of "Little Round Top" site of one of the battles.

Now Gerard wants me to look into a trip to the Grand Canyon in the fall. We shall see. I need to get through the next abdominal scan before I make any long range plans.

Tomorrow is Nick's 1st Birthday so I'll be at his little party in the afternoon. Should be fun.

So what's with all the thyroid problems gang? MY GOD, there are far too many of you suffering with it and it's related depression and other problems .

Roger, on those 4 lbs gone this week. I just can't count calories or stand to be hungry. UGH!! So it's low carb for me. Really, I don't eat much fat at all....Butter on my vegetables and olive oil on salads, that's about it except for the little fat in my meats.

TV is pretty bad. How about talk radio or some nice music?

Bob must really be addicted to opera to get up so darn early on a Sat. YIKES!

Shawnee, Bummer on that thyroid. I sincerely hope you can get it under control after seeing the new Endo. Suffering with those hives is enough to drive one NUTS! You have my deepest sympathy.

As for the polycythemia, cut the smokes. Smoking causes secondary polycythemia, I have it too and my blood counts straightened out when I cut down and may be completely normal now that I have quit. We shall see next month.

Julie, hope you get to feeling better too. Have fun with the GD. What are you going to do with her? Something fun, I hope.

Susan, LOL so the little gal is starting to walk around, eh?
Hope you and dh enjoy a nice dinner now that she is tucked in for the night.

Barb, CLEANING IN THE NUDE? I broke all the toes on one foot years ago when I cleaned bare foot. Beater bar got me.

Ginny, hope you are enjoying a relaxing weekend. You are always working so hard.
One of these days, I'll call you to order more soap. Both my DD and mom love yours.

Thunder storm started so I'll get this thing shut down for now.
