Geriatric Brigade MVM's for May 10 ..Tuesday

Couldn't resist Shawnee's new label for us. Except Ginny.

Going to concentrate on staying totally legal and eating right while we are away, because I MUST get this extra weight off.

OK be good, be happy and be content. I'll see ya all sometime over the weekend If we don't end up as road kill.

Now, now...... not ALL of us are in the "FALLING APART GROUP" ......

Zip stills admires legs Julie wears tight jeans

And some never stay put in that rocking chair but are running around the country

Took me a long time to find us also the other day...... why we are under something we never did is beyond me!! Makes one think of what perception others have of us.

Spring allergies/sinus crap has caught up with me too! Went home yesterday at 10:00 in the morning and slept the rest of the day! Then I had to clean up (the house is a disaster with being gone so much) because the cleaning ladies come today. I would hate to quit work and NOT have this luxury.

Have a great one.......

Barb

Geriatric indeed! Harumph!

We are the Post and InterWar Baby Boom Generation and WE will define how we are viewed...and geriatric isn't the term I think of while I'm bench pressing.

They are putting up another tall condo about 100 yards away and pounding in steel pilings (140-160 FEET til bedrock.) Bang-Bang-Bang is going to go on for WEEKS...like a Chinese Water torture.

Have a nice day, Linda, Barb and everyone.

Hey all,

Another gorgeous day here. We slept in this morning, so I'm feeling like I'm playing catch-up already..... but it sure felt good! All else is normal.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Quick run through....guess I represent the geriatric bragade. HA
Off to my Dr. appt. today and I expect nothing. I cannot expect any dx in one appt. Heart, low blood sugar or panic attacks. Mix all that into acid reflux!!!!!!!!!
Could be one, none or all of the above! Jeez, I'm such a mess. I'll let you know what the doc says later....

Barb, now why did you come down with that?? I admit, this is the worse allergy season I've seen in many years.
Sooooooo you have a maid????? Humph....I have one too, Chuck! HA

HI Roger....

Linda, have a good trip...

Here's the skinny. He does think it's a rebound from going off the antidepressant and is a panic attack. I'm to call my mental health doc for a med change and get in as soon as possible. Waiting for them to call me back.
He upped my Prilosec to 2 a day. Maybe that will help the acid reflux!
To be on the safe side, he is ordering a halter heart monitor and will get that Thursday.
Decrease caffiene and exercise regularly!
He is testing my thyroid and of course other blood tests, cholesterol etc.

It's a start and am happy with what he is doing. My biggest concern now is getting into the mental health doc. She is so busy so hope she can maybe do a phone consult as her next appt. is not till the 23rd for pete's sake.

Later....
