MVM's Sunday the what ever the heck date.

Gosh, being retired and not knowing the date is weird, eh?

Not much going on in my corner of the world but will thoroughly enjoy the hell out of the 70 degree temps.

Being a total BIT#H with my DD and a few other people and need to just stop it. DD needs some real help with her OCD, ADD or what ever the hell she has since her detox last year and I'm not very supportive. I'm just pissed that she can't get a grip. OY this not smoking is not fun at all for those around me.

Going to take my mom out for a bit and then cook a couple of rib eyes on the BBQ with green beans and maybe a small salad.

Hope you all have a great Sunday.
LOL I don't BITE too hard.

awww Linda, you are really a sweetie under all that hard nose crap.
Sorry about your DD but I'm the queen of mother/daughter troubles. So vent it out kiddo, either here or email me.
70° is making me jealous so stop it. We may get up to 60° next week. Waaaaa
I hear ya on not knowing the date. I have to take about 5 minutes every morning when I awake to figure out what day it is. Who cares anyhow... Unless I have somewhere I need to be!

Not much going tomorrow. It poured rain here today but sun came out just long enough for Bo, Chuck and I to head out for a nice walk. Hoping that happens again tomorrow. Mariner's on at 1:00 just in case...
Have a great Sunday gang..

Hi Linda, Julie and everyone,

Another nice day shaping up here...I'm getting spoiled. Nights go into the 40's but the days climb well into the 60's WITH NO RAIN...I could get addicted to this.

Alas Linda, there are some contradictory egg studies that even the EGG BOARD endorses...I'll see if I can did them out. Nevertheless, eggs aren't nearly as bad as they were painted during the '80's.
Linda, you need a safe diversionary habit...macrame, origami (although paper folding would make me NUTS!) Congratulations on your success...raving haridenness is a small price to pay (for YOU anyway )

Looking forward to the afternoon with Bob and Vicki. (Oh, Bob was on cloud Nine after the opera; the one soprano was DIVINE<I heard Act 2on the radio.> Both he and Judith stole the last 2 seats in the 3,800 seat house (BIG place) for Act 2!

I am making a pig's breakfast of my "2 wines a day." First 3 days...a total of 4 Liters! Does anyone have any suggestions. I have been using hypnosis/suggestion but alas I think I will have to use the big guns (make a tape)...but it's TEDIOUS. I have to do it over oand over if I flub one word (because then I concentrate on that word.) Well, I'll do what I gotta do, and I GOTTA!

I'll be back tonight.

Hi to all

Linda don't be so hard on yourself. Some things need to be said and you might be surprised at their good effects. Glad you are staying away from the cigs. KUTGW
Try not to bite ANYONE. Thanks for that article on the eggs. I still try to eat mostly the whites of them. Just some brainwashing still present.

Zip suggestion for your wine consumption: NO!!!!! just measure out a certain amount and stick with it come he!! or high water. Enjoy your day with Vickie and Bob.

Hey to Ginny. Pretty day here too and I'm going to enjoy. Might even plant some flower seeds (snap dragons). or go fishing.

Julie hope your Mariners stay on track this year. Will Nick be out of school for the summer? Did you do any flower planting yet?

Shawnee I like your computer prayer. AMEN

Later folks

Hi Y'all

Am envious of y'all's wamn weather; still raining here, and our highs are Fifties. In the last 3 weeks, we've had hree Non-rain days, so are currently up to 70% of "normal" now. Love the catching-up part, hate the cabin-fever part.

LOL< I know I'm OLD when my main subjects of conversation are the weather and my mind/body functions

Montana, Loretta is right re saying what needs to be said. I worry myself into a mess over the messes in my loved ones lives...Kaci tries to keep me sane by telling me say what needs to be said, then turn the responsibility back to the one(s) who should be taking it. People being human, they have to want to help themselves before they can be helped. Take care of YOU, ok?

Ginny, if you're awake now, here's a PupUpdate re my GPups. They were here yesterday afternoon, while we were having a rare sunbreak. The backyard came alive with activity Burke is finally (we think) full-grown, and is showing some Lab in his genes: long legs, slim body, gentle disposition. Kaci is pleased with his abilities, personality, and intelligence. Baby General Tso (presently called Midget) resembles a wind-up cartoon character, as he motors will all his might to keep up with the bouncing, bounding Burke. Kaci thinks the Midget will not reach the mental level of his older sib...but that's OK with me, his disposition (Huggability factor) is off the charts.
How's your tribe?

Aw, Loretta...love those Snapdragons. When GBrats were young, they loved to squeeze them to make them "talk". Its too nippy and wet for me to do any planting yet...but we are promised a few days of "better" for the middle of next week. Gotta get the mowing caught up again when its dry, then "reward" myself with planting. So fishing or planting, enjoy your day!

Zip, I hope ya got that tape made, do whatever it takes to make yourself better. Since the wine is a problem, come up with something else. Maybe not so easy, but doable, huh?
LOL, and meanwhile, count your blessings that you can concentrate on yourself, instead of relatives.
The Chuckster is now going to his planted Catnip without too much fuss, but still checks thru the remaining plants on the porch, hoping...

Gotta run, Hey to everyone else.

Hi Roger, Ginny, Shawnee and Loretta!

Roger, from one alcoholic to you...you have to make up your mind to quit entirely if you can't just have 2. I know you can do it. Try the grape wine someone suggested. Thats a really good idea.

Loretta, Nick will finally graduate in June. Actually he is done with all his subjects except P.E. and Pottery. LOL Thanks for asking.
No flower planting here yet. A little too cool at night yet.

Shawnee, totally agree with your statement...
"LOL< I know I'm OLD when my main subjects of conversation are the weather and my mind/body functions."
Whenever I talk to my brother on the phone we talk sickness/aches and pains, my DSIL laughs in the background saying thats all we talk about.

Ginny, awake now?????? No package yet.....dang!

Off to make myself 20 years younger. Nice and Easy will help me on that project!!

I'm awake now!

Julie, hopefully Monday will bring the pkg!

Linda, say what needs said, keeps the biting factor lower LOL!

Loretta, catch a fish for me

Zip, 2 words: grape juice. DB researced it, and his findings were that it has the same effect. Alcoholism is nothing to play with.

Shawnee, awww on the pupdate, bet the Midget gets wore out quick chasing his big bro! Next time you see Burkepup, give him a kiss for me, and give Midget an extra snuggle (is there such a thing?). Our gang is enjoying the warm sunshine.

Off to get some sunlight.......

Back again

Julie, remember back to our younger years...when our Elders would discuss their various surgeries and illnesses, and do the "one-upmanship" thing, like...MY scar is bigger than yours??? or brag about how many medications they took? The loved reading the Obituaries...YUP, outliving someone younger gave them a special thrill !
OH, Gawd...are we becoming our own Elders?!

I've started making the layers for the GBrat's wedding cake. Six baked and frozen, six to go...then all that (Poison!) frosting and decorating later..ugh.

Ginny, glad your FurKids have sun to romp in. Probably feels good on ol' Bub's bones too. I cannot keep myself from kissing my GPups on the tops of their heads...I'll sneak in some from Aunt G next time.

back for one more look see.

Julie, Ha!! I am too a B*tch and damned proud of it. Always have been and always will be.

Holy Cow, it doesn't seem possible that Nick will graduate in June. Bet he is very proud of himself. Give him a hug from all of us.

Humm need to check my skunk stripe and may very well need to have it taken care of this week too.

Roger, thanks for the link to your health bb. Interesting post you put up. Tell me something, did you get banned again and have to re register under a different screen name?

Not very good with my hands except with a gun LOL, I do NEED moving targets though.

Hope you, Bob and Vickie had a great day.

Humm, my brother in Montana ( alcohol and drug problems all of his life) is on Antibuse. You sure as hell won't drink with that.

Ginny, glad you got that necessary caffeine in.
Gave my mom a bar of you soap( lemon grass ) and she just LOVES it. Got another customer I think. That is wonderful stuff.

Hope you enjoyed the nice day.

Loretta, Hope you and DH enjoyed a peaceful day on the lake. Did you catch any fish?
How is the trim painting coming along, finished yet?

Shawnee, your Kaci is one smart cookie. Guess we should both take her advice.

Aww on the pup update from me too. How much does Burk weigh now? Bet he is a big boy.

OY that is going to be one awesome cake. YIKES 12 layers? Oh the frosting is the best part. Slobber, slobber and drool. Butter cream was my personal favorite.

Off to watch the National Parks specials on the Travel Channel. Boy they are good.

Tomorrow is my Nuclear stress test and darn it all, no caffeine until after. Damned test isn't scheduled until 3PM. LMAO I really, really feel very sorry for those people tomorrow. I'll be hell on wheels.

Good evening folks!

Left the house on Saturday morning and just returned!

The snow is melting rapidly and now they are concerned with flooding. The river past our house is flowing well!! It is rather nice to sit on the front porch in the morning and listen to the water. Unless it takes out the bridge, we are up further on higher ground.

Glad you had a fun trip Linda. The Amish do put us to shame with their work ethic. They probably have a REAL farmer's breakfast after several hours of work in the morning.

No, we need to stick to rules and bringing guns to school even though they are in the locked vehicle is wrong. How do you make exceptions? It is a bad mistake to forget a gun in the truck (from hunting )and a costly one also.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who gets into mad moods. I can BITE and did on Friday (that's why we left this weekend). I think I still have teethmarks on my tongue from the last time.

Too tired to think anymore............

Ok Linda, I'll get out of your way for tomorrow. I'd be a totaly b*tch if I couldn't have my caffeine too. You don't scare me on other days though. LOL

Yep, Nick is 19 remember...Another big celebration in store. His mom is taking him for senior pics this week. Wish he'd shave off his hair on his face. It's comes in spurts. Earrings and holes I guess willl have to stay but the rings can come out as they do for work. He wanted to dye his very light brown hair black AGAIN a few nights back and am glad I told him when he has a full time job, moves out on his own, he can do ANYTHING he darn well wants but untill then.....mean ole gramma. AT least he'll get a hair cut before hand.

Now where is that health BB you are talking about? I bet it's called healthboards!! Hehehe I have gone there before.

Just discovered Yahoo radio. It's great. Janie on the GY told us about it.

Hi Barb, come on retire!!! It's not worth all that stress...
