Thursday 4/7 for MVM
Hey all,
Rainy here for us today. Yesterday's rain found it's way via a leak in my windshield seal, dripping on the steering wheel and then travelling downward to my SEAT! Wet butt, no fun, while driving home last night. Think I'll take the van today! Off to wake up. Need caffeine! |

Hey to all
No fun Ginny a wet seat. Did you know it before you sat on the puddle? DsD has gone to visit her sister in Paducah last night and will return later today. Other DGKs and pup are gone. The new siding is looking real nice. I like it a lot but they have a long way to go. Got to catch up with some Suzy stuff today while she is gone. Thanks Shawnee for the pic of the tulips and your yard. I am wondering if I should try the tulips again next winter? They look so refreshing. Loretta |

Hi Y'all
RAIN is back for us too. But its ok, cause I'm feelin' GOOD: got the lawns mowed, good muscle workout via weeds, and I'm slathered in Ginny's secret potion/lotion Aw, Ginny...Bummer on the wet butt Thankfully you were on the way home, instead of to work. Be extra nice to DH so he fixes it soon. (I'm sure you can do it too, but those handy-men guys like ours need to be needed.)Loretta, glad you're getting a quiet break ( is it noisy in the house while the siding is being applied?) I hope ya do try the tulip pots again, so worth it for that splash of color when our spirits are flagging. I think your problem was drainage, and maybe putting the pots in a protected area...like under the eves or patio roof. Montana, your trip sounds awesome, please take your camera so the rest of us can enjoy it too. To ALL, have a content day. Shawnee

Hi everyone, Just running in for a few minutes now but shall return later.
It was nice again today, up to almost 70, but now it's starting to rain. Oh well, April Showers and all. ![]() Just took two racks of ribs out of the oven and need to EAT! Cut back to almost induction levels to see if this extra few lbs will come off easily. Gotta get on it before it gets out of hand. Ginny, glad the check arrived. Whew!! Oh I just LOVE the feel of that soap. My gosh,my skin hasn't felt this good in a long time. Not dry and itchy at all. Yuck on the wet seat. Sounds like you need a new seal for that windshield. Loretta, glad your work crew is giving you a bit of a break. Don't forget to take some pictures. Shawnee, OK you have convinced me to order some lotions too. LOVE the soaps but can't decide on which scent I like best. LOL Yeah I'll take some pictures. Just hope the weather is good. Roger, don't tell us that you got that bug that Bob has. I sincerely hope not. How about this east coast weather? Nice, huh? Julie and Barb, what's up in your corner of the world? Susan, pirogies are wonderful!! Too bad you never had the opportunity to try them. LOL too late now unless you want to fall of the low carb wagon. Later gang. |

Got some wonderful news today. The other insurance company called me and is ready to settle. That means I will get my car rental and my deductable back. I called my insurance guy and gave him the case number and the insurance info. He will take care of it all for me. Happy Dance for sure.
Shawnee have you planted flower seeds instead of the ususal annuals. I am thinking about going that route. It is noisy when they are out there banging away on the house. I had a nice quiet day with DH today. It was WONDERFUL. Linda I didn't know you had put on some extra pounds. Your metabolism is just slowing down as you know. Don't you think that the food tastes much better now? I noticed that right away when I quit smoking. |

Back again
Montana, I bet your kitchen smells GOOD! YUM! Enjoy those ribs ![]() If anyone knows how to dump pounds, its YOU! I like all the scents of Ginny's...but am in love especially with LemonGrass, so fresh and clean. SuSUN, do I remember eating Perogies..um,um, good. Joke was funny! Loretta, glad ya got some good news...before ya sign off on that Ins. Release..., will any medical expenses your DSon needed/will need be covered? Not planting seeds this year, altho I really enjoy watching them do their thing. I scattered some around late last Fall from English Daisies, Shoo-fly, etc that had gone to seed. The Daisies are already blooming. Any annuals I plant this year will be in pots, baskets. Haven't planted any of the ones I've already bought, waiting to find some good Lobelias and Swan River Dasies, etc to use as filler plants...I like my baskets really stuffed. I have so many perennials ( and Annuals that reseed,) I really don't need any more in-ground plants. Enjoy your time gardening, its a Life-affirming act for me. ![]() Quiet board today, where's the missing bunch? Shawnee |

Shawnee, I can smell your fragrance up here, sounds so clean and fresh, just like your garden. Loretta, Great News on the other insurance, it is always better news when we don't expect it.Sounds like the siding is going to be gorgeous too. Ginny, Poor you with the "wet drawers". I am sure your DH will fix that window seal fer you in no time. Hope your shift goes smoothly fer ya! Julie, Off bowling again? or lunch? or taxiing? Roger, Watsup? Working out at the gym ready for a great weekend? Barb, Enjoy your weekend off. Waving to the rest of our gang! (almost like a wave)SuSUN ![]() Last edited by SuSUN : 04-08-2005 at 05:41 PM. |
