Happy Easter to ALL

Good morning Linda and everyone NEWLY REGISTERED (I had to dig through my password sheeets!) How's you cold...did it hit full force or was it a quick slam, bam, thank you ma'am?

We are doing theater and and Indian buffet this afternoon. They are PROMISING that the rain will hold off til tonight. So it's cloudy and mild here mid (let's see if "degrees" still works) and 45° going to 50° (forgive the experimenting...you know ME!)

Corn beef and Cabbage and those oblong things that Julie says I shouldn't mention that grow under the earth but can be boiled, baked or given to the French to do what they do, put on 2 pounds of water bloat. I guess even after 3 hours of simmering a corn beef is STILL a salty proposition.

Well, off to coffee.

Don't eat any chocolate bunnies (at LEAST, until they are 75% OFF tomorrow!

Having Easter dinner today. Step dd is coming over and request to eat at noon so DGD can get back to college. We ususually eat a lot later in the day. Getting organized. Will return later today, I hope.

Enjoy the dinner. I think the board is an improvement; for one thing the smileys pop in whereever you have the cursor now instead of always at the end...that used to drive me batty!

We're making up for lost time in the rain bucket

Hope everyone has a peaceful and content day, with lots of those nice little things happening; you know, the kind that make ya smile.

Here's a bright spot in our Rainy Day...the Tulip Pots are bout 2 weeks ahead of last year's blooming, but not as abundant (LOL, could be cause the coons got into them several weeks back, and did a little selective thinning)

Nice to see the tulips anyway Shawnee. Yep, have a spell of no rain at the moment but it won't last long. Clouds are here for awhile and they are heavy.

Loretta, I love to at early, get them out of there and clean up and sit down in our chair and put your feet up.

Have been to brunch at DD and it went very well. Heading over to DS1 in a little while for dinner. I caved on the candy already. Monday morning will be a new me with renewed spirit.

We have had a gorgeous sunny day up here, miles of blue sky too! Oliver loved his walk, me too. Sassy always likes her walk.

Absolutely gorgeous pic, what a site for sore eyes after all this white. Today helped thaw quite a lot of it, we have grass patches showing thru the lawn, the streets are clear of it too now.

Thanks for those symbols. I always wondered how y'all did that! See I am still learning. To test it out it was plus +8 #176 that's 8 degrees celsius and no wind. DH hosed the cars down and the garage floor. We are getting Spring Fever up here!
