Looking for "low carb babies" :)
Hiya!
I posted this in another spot, but Shandril suggested that I post here instead (thanks, Shandril!). I'm co-writing a fertility book and am looking for stories from women who were trying to conceive for at least a year and did not succeed until they went on a lower-carb diet. Please write to me at jg@jennaglatzer.com if you're interested in telling me your story and being included in the book! You can use your real name or a pseudonym. Need stories by Monday, March 28. Thanks! Jenna Glatzer www.jennaglatzer.com |

Hi Jenna,
Sorry I don't want to be included in the book (I'm sure you'll have lots of interest!) but I just wanted to share that my husband and I were trying to conceive for just over a year without any luck, and then we both started on a low-carb lifestyle. About 2-3 months later I went from a size 10 to size 6 (I lost about 15 lbs) and I got pregnant! We were beyond thrilled but sadly we recently lost the baby when I was 5 months pregnant. But I often wonder if this way of eating contributed to getting pregnant. I wasn't eating particularly low-carb while I was pregnant, but now have gone back on induction to lose the baby fat. Best of luck with your book ![]() Take care, Sacha |
