Ginny, thanks for the review of the movie, Blue Collar. Don't know if I can rent it or find it on our local cable but will look into it.

Gotta hit the sack because I"m really drooping.

Glad you're back...can't believe you're still UP at quarter to TWO after the long drive! So do you think if I start feeding donuts to Republicans I can hope for a favorable outcome?

Off to MACY'S and THE MET in a few minutes. Today is GLORIOUS and probably the only nice day of the week so I won't waste any of it at the gym.

Barb, I was going to run with Bob this morning but ALAS he left at 7 AM and the only RUN I do at that hour is to the bathroom.

See yah, when we see yah. Try to enjoy all the visitors; or at least look forward to the quiet time when they've gone.

Damn weight is fighting me in SPITE of dedication to 2,000 calories. Well, I guess that's the price we pay after a WHOOSH.

Morning!!

Many must have "life" taking up their time!

I was going to run also this am Zip, but I slept in!

I'm taking off for a few days with two friends -- us girls need a break -- Spring Break for us!!

IF I get internet connection, I'll be on the laptop - if not, I'll be back Friday.

BIG winter storm for tomorrow (CA has been so gracious this winter)!! We are heading south - AZ.

Glad you were able to attend the funeral, Linda and see Meri. This internet family can become quite close and one feels as if we have known each other for a while. NOW, for MY wake, I expect a crowd, lots of dancing, drinking, and carbs!!

Morning gang,

60's and rain for today, at least that's what they're saying. I'm STILL gonna do those hamburgers on the grill--gotta love a covered porch! One thing I did learn about the grill yesterday is that it's better to put hair in a pony tail BEFORE lighting. On a perfectly still day, as soon as you push the ignitor, a breeze WILL come up and put a bit of hair in the line of fire........no damage, thankfully, but a few ends do smell a bit singed

Today will see me doing this in the PROPER order LOL

Zip, I'd have to see if feeding donuts to the Liberals will bring the desired results!

Linda, that really was a nice thing you did going up to Meri's for the service. I'm sure she really appreciated the support of her internet friends as well as those IRL. Hope you got some good sleep and are well rested from your trip--own bed always feels SO good!

Barb, have a safe and fun trip!

Shawnee, hope you enjoyed your visiting! Friends will pop in here anytime, but with family being so far away, they DO call first LOL!

LOL! on singed hair!

Hope all the FurKids are well!

Oliver's skin is improving at least he has no breaks in his skin now. I cream him up daily. I wish I could relieve his discomfort. I may have to find another Vet. I would like him to take an internal anti itch medication like Benedryl or something. I am going thru the creams so fast. I should buy shares in that company.

Hope all went well yesterday. We had a good visit with the Neurologist. He spent over an hour assessing DH and ordered a whole bunch of diagnostic test. He has an appointment for MRI next week, lots of bloodwork and nerve conduction studies too!

He has to get an optic x-ray done first cuz he has worked with metal all his working life before he can have the MRI, so he is hoping to get that done this week. He sees his fam. dr tomorrow, so lots of requisitions flying.

Thanks for the tip on Comedy Central, not sure if we have that one in our package I'll check with DH.

If we do it sounds like it might be a good laugh.
Could it just be the sodium holding the weight, if you are eating out a lot! Enjoy the Korean, I dont think I have ever tried that. What's it like? Chinese sechwan? (sp)

HI to all
Busy few days here enjoying the company of my oldest son and helping him paint a few things here getting ready for our siding. We got the storage barn painted and the columns under our car port and the house doors. Have started to paint the porch but ran out of paint. DS has to go back to work also, so we will take a breather. He will be back in about a week to finish up.

Linda I'm so happy that you went to be with Meri for the funeral. That was so supportive of you. I know she was comforted to have you there with her.

Susun thanks for the news on the neurologist visit for DH. Sure hope those tests get to the solution for his problem.

Ginny please be careful out there with that fire and grill. That long hair can cause some problems getting caught in machinery too. One of my sons girlfriends almost got scalped. We did have a beautiful sunny 60 degree day yesterday. We got a lot of painting done.

Patience Zip. IT will work. How is your water intake?
