Hi gang,

Heads up: DON'T run Ad-Aware til they get to the bottom of a serious problem (though it may already be cleared up):

http://reviews.cnet.com/5208-6132-0....79&tag=nl.e497

It has savaged several XP networks and that means even your internet connection...maybe other Windows systems are involved as well. I've lucked out and haven' run it in the last couple weeks....I THINK!

Tonight we are seeing a show called ALTAR BOYZ which is a send-up of both Boy Bands and Christian singing groups. Supposed to be pretty good natured and VERY funny and the kids are cute and talented (a gay one, an adorable one, a seedy "biker-type", a black one, and a jew...think Back Street Boys Meet GOD!) Unfortunately we are looking at RAIN all day but we can get to within a block of the theater underground all the way. Unfortunately it means eat at home, but when we are dieting it's ALWAYS easier to figure caloires at home rather than at a restaurant.

Apartment is nice and SPIFFY, for a welcome change!

(Oh Ginny, I'm not quite sure WHERE I clipped that avatar...I know it was the OLD eruption of dear Helen...my mother's name.)

Just a quick hello before we hit the road.

Roger, Yikes! I think I ran AdAware last Friday but haven't noticed anything wrong YET!

Enjoy Alter Boyz, it sounds really interesting. Hope you don't get the rain. We are looking at a few inches of SNEAUX on top of the 97.9 inches we got so far this season.

See ya.

Good Morning Roger, Linda and those that follow!

HAPPY FIRST DAY OF SPRING TO ONE AND ALL!

It is gorgeous up here today, sunny and bright, blue skies, that is looking upwards. Still lots of sneux down, but clearing in patches around the edges of the driveways and roads now.

Had a wonderful "Indian" take-out celebration feast at DD's last night. I even had 1/2 glass of red wine. I am always the DD cuz I don't usually drink anything while we are out.

DH is looking forward to his appointment tomorrow.

I have some paperwork to finish today and then off to the mall Easter shopping...yeah!

Linda,
Thank you so much for the articles. I have several now ready in hand to raise my concerns over the use of Crestor.
Looks nice and clear for your drive up to Watertown. We will be thinking of you all there. Pass along our thoughts and prayers are with Meri at this time.

Roger,
Too late, that is the one that I ran last week then all this stuff started. It is not often that I clean my puter but I thought it was about time to clean it out. Sheesh! Thank you for the warnings. I will let DSIL know what it could have been.

Hope you get some chuckles and enjoyment out of the show tonight and that you dont get wet.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY GINNY! HAVE A GOOD ONE!

Later,
SuSUN

Roger,
I update my AdAware every time I use it and I ran it Friday night with no problem. I usually run it every other day, sometimes every day if I've done a lot of surfing or Nick was using it. So for what isn't worth, I'm without a problem here.

Loretta, glad you had a nice birthday dinner. Yep, we could all be Ginny's mom or dad.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY GINNY AND MANY MORE!!! Hope your day is doing what you want!

SuSun, Spring has sprung but we are socked in with clouds but...no complaining here, we've had a great year so far..
I'm not fond of Indian or Mediterranean foods.

Linda, anxious for your return and an update on how Meri's coping. Am so glad you were able to go and hope you represent all of us from the Golden group and here too.

Need to get dressed! I say that a lot, huh? Well, have been reading a lot of the threads about the AdAware problem and time has slipped away. DD is going to stop by today and I at least want to be dressed. Haven't seen her in quite awhile.
Hi to all of the rest of you. Hope you check in and let us know how you're doing...

Hi Y'all

Just a quickie for now

Loretta and SuSUN, I'll be thinking positive thoughts for both y'all's DHs tomorrow !

Loretta, maybe the snow pack for so long made your tulip bulbs rot, they couldn't drain...
and poor Jacki, got her house exterior all spiffy, but at the expense of her foundation plantings being trampled.

Ginny, our resident young'un

Be back later on..HEY to ALL our Bunch, have a good one.

Shawnee
