Good Morning,, I had a pretty good weekend, got some some new running shoes to try out this week. My DH and I went out to dinner Sat night and I ate way to much,, I did not have any potatoes but ate 1/2 of a roll, wine always makes me crave carbs, then we came home and I ate some chocolate cake,, but it was SF and LC so guess that was not too bad,,, then yesterday we went to as bday party and I ate cake and icecream, to day I have to get back on track.. my weight is at 117, want to get back to 115 at least. I have a 12 hour day at work today,, hopefully we will be busy so I wont think about eating all day. haha. How did everyones elses weekend go?? I will check back in later to see how everyone is doiing,have a good day. Brenda

Good morning everyone! Well, that sugar free pudding concoction finally got me after eating it throughout the weekend. I was up to 111.75 this morning. Part of the gain was also from too much cheese on Sunday. Anyway, hope to get back under 110 in a couple of days. Vickie

good morning! I had an amazing weekend, my dd and I went "geo-caching" aka treasure hunting with my boyfriend Steve, here's the link if you want more info www.geocaching.com
It was so much fun and good exercise, being out in the sun (and it was free!!) I went to Wild Oats and stocked up on food for my week, I've found that I make bad choices primarily when I'm having PMS OR when I'm starving and am not prepared with food. Well, PMS is over, yay!, and I have food to bring to work, like yogurt, string cheese, fruit for snacks and grilled chicken and salad for lunch... Goals for the week: 1. work out 4x 2. eat out only 4x (this gets out of hand really fast for me! I like the break at work to go out for lunch, and it's so easy to go out with dd at night after I pick her up from school...) Have a good day!! Rachel |

HI everyone - I was doing so good last week and for six days it went great. Well yesterday, had a birthday party for DH ate clean with grilled shrimp and veggies then had a piece of his Carrot Cake Birthday Cake. It was from the so called best bakery in town and so expensive and I knew I'd break over before the day was over. Ended up being my dinner. I guess I could call it a CAD Day but I felt guilty. Anyway, I'm back to squeaky clean this morning and will see if I can hold out. I sent a lot of the cake home with my DD so hopefully someone will finish it before I get home tonight.
Here is to a good clean week for all of us! My goals for the week: Workout at least six hours this week. Eat very clean this week concentrating on proteins. Limit my coffee more, drink at least 120 oz. water No Diet Coke

My weekend was good .. ate clean, exercised, ran 7.3 miles Saturday and again today (Monday). My goal is 100 miles for March and so far, I'm on track to do it!!
Back to work part time today .. it was a little rough, but I got through it. Feel tired tonight though. Will work half day tomorrow and then Thursday half day. That should be more than enough! Hope you all have a terrific week! Betty |

Sorry Rachel! Today has been busy..it is pms already all over again. I had to nap with A today I was so tired. UGH...this weekend i did ok with eating except sunday night we went to my best friends for a barbecue. I ate chips and salsa, bread with the meal and two slices of apple pie QWITH icecream. i went to her house too hungrey(just cereal before asll of the pigging out) but i would have still eaten what I did bc of the pms and I am just a social eater! Everyone teases me that i eat so much. I love eating with people! Is this un normal? So today I am too tired to workout but i ate super good(low cal and low carb in evenings) so I am trying. The scale isn't terrible. Before the weekend I was under 110(ok 109.5) with all of my new muscle. My mom who hasn't seen me in three weeks said my legs looked super tone and we are honest with each other. I feel pretty good. We will see how pms weeks goes... Rachel, I bought some dannon low fat vanilla yogurt..so yummy. i am being careful with it as it is what stalled me last time, although i was pure low carb then. Thank you for the geo site. I still need to look at it, but it sounds so fun! You always have the best ideas! How is steve? I am the same with eating out! There is a new placve called bread bites near us. It is like Ca pizza kitchen. Do you have those? anyways it has the best chicken walnut salad ever..but also Bread bites(duh, right?!?) A can and has to eat carbs and fat..I need to try to avoid and it is hard..wahhh!~ i promise I will be back in the am. I don't want to lose you as my buddy. You motivate me! Betty, hope work goes well for you! Good job on the running Ann yuo and I were eating up a storm this sunday..lol! Janina, I am sorry to hear about the bad PMS, I had it at the end of last week, too. I've decided to just give in on those days, I eat well (mostly) the rest of the time! I am still doing the Lotte Berk and love it. Steve is great, the weekend was amazing, he said, "you need a good weekend, don't you?" and when I said yes, he said, "I'll take care of it." That's really sweet!!

P.S. Janina, I never get vanilla yogurt, the extra sugar in it makes me crazy. I always get the plain but I will add my own fruit and just a little bit of honey to it. Love yogurt!!

Hello everyone,, well my 12 hour day yesterday was good,,today I am off and was having agreat morning,, ran 4 miles,, jumped in the shower as I wanted to get an early start to running my errands,, the phone rings and I am thinking," could that be Brian calling from Japan??" so I jump out of the shower and no it is not him, I go running back into the bathroom and HELLO wet floor,, my feet flip out from under me and I go down on my right wrist, elbow and tailbone,, I just layed there for about 5 minutes,, I was in such pain,, I finally crawled to the bedroom carpet and slowly get up,, My wrist is so sore,, I guess it is sprained and my elbow is all bruised and has a cut,, and my tailbone is nice and tender, and my neck is stiff and sore,, what a great start to my morning now,,, hopefully the rest of day will go better,, I am so mad as I should do weight lifting with DH tonight, but not now,, I am alos up in weight this morning so I am on all protein today. I just keep adding on pounds, I just dont get it.. Well I hope you all have a great day,, and dont run on them wet floors, haha,, Brenda

Oh goodness Brenda I hope you are OK. Nothing like a fall to scare you to death. I'm kinda having a rough day myself. Got up this morning with an upset stomach but came on to work. I've been upchucking all morning but seem to be feeling better. I haven't eaten anything yet but am thinking about trying something.

Ann, sounds like you have a virus or coming down with the flu. Hope you feel better soon. Betty, glad you were able to get back to work. It will take time to get the strength back. Rachel, that treasure hunting sounds like fun. Glad you had a good weekend. Janina, sorry you aren't feeling well. I have to be careful too of the social eating. It is so tempting. My going back to work is taking a toll on my daily exercise routine. Our weather here has not helped either. I really need to buy a treadmill. I should be back below 110 on Wednesday. I did a protein day on Tuesday and think I will continue that for a couple of days. Although I would not do just protein for a long period of time, I actually feel better when I do it for 2-3 days. I got in some upper body wt training early this morning but my regular exercise routine is not possible as long as I am working and the weather is not cooperative. We got snow overnight. Hi all! Sorry I have been missing a bit. I am in full blown pms mode and just struggling not to eat everything in site. Had great eating and then broke down last night and had a chocolate bar. frustrating after good eating for three days. I will stay on plan today and then Friday morning thru Sunday afternoon me and my dh will be alone and celebrating anniversary. We are going to all of our favorite resturaunts and places to go together so no dieting then. That is ok. It is sunny here. yesterday A and I went in the jacuzzi and sat in the sun. Today we are going to do the same. Tomorrow it might rain so I am taking atvantage of the day.
Vickie, OmG i can't believe the snow. Thank you for posting the photo. Once I figure out how to do it i will post some here. I like seeing more of peoples lives! Are you back to 110? I am 110 too this am. i will work towards 105 after tom. Rachel, i saw on another board you were stress eating..is everything ok? Janina, the stress eating is from work, I'm just maxxed out on my projects, it's so bad right now that I almost had an anxiety attack on Friday night. I am happy to have Steve back in town, and he's been really great about planning fun weekends for us, etc. He came over yesterday afternoon and we sat on the couch and I fell asleep in his arms (just shows how exhausted I am and how much I trust him, I can relax when I'm with him...) Luckily, I've been doing wonderfully on my exercising and my weight is under control, even though I am very much tempted to eat poorly the minute I walk out the door at work. Janina, I was at 109.5 Thurs morning and should be lower Friday morning. I have just been eating protein/some fat for a couple of days now and I think I am back in losing mode. I may do one more day of just protein and then add back some veggies and nuts over the weekend.
I took that pic Thurs morning before going to work. That snow was gone by the time I came home from work. Weather here is crazy. We are supposed to have temps in the mid to upper 50s for a few days starting Friday. Vickie |

Rachel, I am sorry work is so hectic. I am happy you have Steve to give you some support and well needed smiles!
Vickie great job on losing. i am getting seriously back into into that mode after this tom. No good me trying now. Ate well and then jelly beans were screaming my name! Yikes..when does it end? I am thinking of trying the hollywood diet for 48 hours next week. It says you can drop up to 10 lbs but I don't have that now to drop. i know it is mainly water loss like the cabbage soup diet etc. i know a freind who does it every couple weeks and then just eats normally the rest of the time. She is thin and does it to maintain. i am thinking it might also work for me as I am a feast or famin type eater..no little meals or nibbling for me.. A and I took a nice nap after jacuzzing this afternoon. I will miss my snuggly little naps with her. They are so great when my pms hits, althought I could have slept for 4 hours..I just feel beat. Janina, I am a "feast or famine" eater too. Although when I indulge, it is still lower carb. I have good results by doing the protein/fat only when I need to drop a few lbs.
I was at 108.5 Fri morning. I am definitely back into ketosis. I will stay very low carb through the weekend. Have a great Friday everyone! Vickie |

today is the start of the big romantic weekend... I am 109 today which is odd since I am pmsed and usually am up. I also ate bagel chips last night. Felt terrible about it but the munchies hit at this time. I realized today I didn't have a big dinner as i wasn't hungrey and then just snacked on what I was craving. Odd to be down from 110. Hi all, I hope everyone is having a great weekend. Mine should be good. My sister came down to the restraraunt where I manage and hung out and then we came back to my house and sat up drinking, munching and talking till almost 3 am,, and I am paying for it now,, groggy head,, tried to sleep in this morning as I dont have anywhere to go but I just cant go back to sleep so I am drinking coffee and reading the forums hoping to get some energy to go run a few miles. tonight we are going out dancing,, we are setting my sis up on a blind date,, should be interesting. I hope I have the energy to get through this night. This is not good for those few pounds that I need to shed. I am still hanging in at 116. Me and B had a great time and he spoiled me. It is also great to pick up dd and have her home now. We ate coldstone yesterday. OMG so yummy but so bad!!! Hi, all!
I've had this icky sore throat on and off all weekend, I start feeling better and then worse again, ugh!! Janina, I'm happy that you've had such a good weekend, Steve and I went to see a movie and out for dinner on Friday, he stayed over and I fixed us yogurt and strawberries for breakfast on Saturday am and we went out to this great salad bar for lunch and he showed me pictures he'd took when he was gone. He took a couple of pictures of orchids for me, told me that the other guys in his group were like, come on, let's get out of here, and he said, "no, I've got to take this pictures for my girlfriend!!
