Bob's birthday dinner at ARTE PASTA was delicious.

Ginny, I chopped Phonecias stems yesterday...she gave a short spurt and a few flowers but the gas was just too much for her for much of a winter bloom. I'll treat her well and keep her misted and we'll see an nice late Spring show most likely.

Had to re-read your post as I was glancing fast. I read the trip to the Vet and then the Flea market...I wondered if the Vet was collecting for a circus?

Oliver is due for his check up and needles, not sure what to do about his rabies. The vet said it is licensed for 3 years. I hope it is still protecting him. We just need the papers when we travel across the borders. I would hate if they kept him behind at customs.

We have the flakes a fallin on us as I speak...write. They have been falling all mornin! Sheesh! shovelling and blower out later!
Yes, it seems too early to coat the deck yet! DH usually waits till May for ours to dry out.
Glad to hear that you are progressing along with the papertrail for the SS commandant....cyanide pills were standard issue with the top ranking guys. I think ya qualify!
DS is getting a frustrated that he can't find a partner to share his life with...he gets quite down at times about this. Yesterday was tough for him, we all talked him out of it. He is a bit more upbeat today.

Zip I did get the catalog and am glad to see that the sale lasts until May 9th. By that time I might be ready for another order.
Thanks for the advice on the painting. I will be sure the weather is going to cooperate, but in the mean time I think I can get the storage shed cleaned up some and nail in some loose boards.
Glad you are going to get your SS in the works. Hope your dentist is a painless one. Ask for drugs instead of music.

Susun glad to see that you are up and running. Did your DSIL say what happened to cut you off line. I have been sort of sick with a respiratory problem lately and have stayed away for Leah. I am feeling better but spend the first hour upon rising coughing and blowing my nose. At night my ears get so hot? (fever) or someone is talking about me. I seem to be able to sleep quite well.

Ginny I like your new avitar too. Those orkids sure are beautiful.
Thanks. I have been taking some robutussin cough liquid at night and that seems to help. Have you finished up with your crud. I am ready for it to leave and not return this time.

Linda are you going to test your blood sugar after eating the stuff you make with the carb quick. Those cookies I made with the carbsense packaged mix are just ok. I really to prefer my own from scratch. Let us know how you like the carbquik.

Going to enjoy this sunny Sunday. Not much going on, I don't think we will work on the boat today. DH likes to relax on Sundays and I approve.

Hi all, spend a lazy day doing NOTHING and truly enjoyed it.
I foolishly passed on one of the post parade parties and missed the blind piper. G. took a chance and went to that one and got to see him. Oh well! Last year we waited a couple of hours only to find out the Phila. band went to another party.

Roger, why a trip to the DMV too? Do you need to renew your drivers license too? Yuck on the dentist. My heart goes out to you.

According to the weather channel and Accu weather, we may get hit with a bad snow storm Monday night or Tuesday.

I"m totally fed up with winter. MAKE IT STOP!!

No, the grand kids always go with their parents to the parade. Both of my sons usually march with the Fire Dept. if they aren't working and one grand brat takes Irish dance lessons and marches too.

DH has his own computer...our old one and not hooked to the internet. Just his Easy Cad software for drawing and his solitaire games. I guess you can say he's addicted to his solitaire. He can spend hours playing that.

SuSun, I hear ya on your son. Mine just broke up with his 5 yo partner and is now out there looking and it scares the $%^# out of me. He has good judgement but I have to still be a mother, right?

Scrubbed some lawn furniture this AM (the cheap plastic stuff, the good stuff I have stored).

Kaci came this afternoon sans Pups, so we looked at nursery stock and piddled around. Just nice to wander thru blooms in the sun.
