Monday, GOOD Presidents' Day

Hi gang,

About 3 inches on the ground this morning. Winter continues its gray grasp.

Black pit of Hell has opened its maw for me again...tough time.

Forced myself to see a good play yesterday: THE LAST DAYS OF JUDAS ISCARIOT. The wonderful production, pretty much about the meaning of DESPAIR made me feel a slight bit better because it's cathartic to realize that at least SOMEBODY in history felt worse than I did. Quite a fascinating bit of work from 15 excellent performers:
http://www.nytimes.com/2005/02/20/th...s/20schi.html?
(Jesus was good but SATAN (Eric Boghosian) gave the best performance...Mother Theresa was a hoot!)
Later, maybe.

Beautiful speedboat Loretta.

BTW.
Sandra Dee died yesterday...kidney disease at 62 (can I have more SALT please?)

Roger, get your butt under those bright lights please. We hate to see you feeling down

More later when I wake up. Don't know exactly how much of the white crap we have but it's not as much as we thought would come.

Hey all,

Just finished a wave of stormy rainy thundery stuff, complete with power outage. Got some hail in the mix too we don't like that stuff! The front yard is a bit of a lake, we're fairly saturated here.

Back to the grind today. That means I better get my butt in gear! A few more lurks and then a shower!

Hope all have a content day,

Good to see that start off today from you Zip. Glad you enjoyed the play and were out and about. No speedboat but fast enough Zip, Crappie boat. I hate riding in the side seat when zipping across the lake because there in no windshield on the passenger side. I have to turn around so the bugs stay out of my face.

Julie on that joke. How did you know that? Well does enjoy the two f s one of which is fishing. Enjoy having Jana with you for a few days.

Ginny we have had the rain also, thunder storms today, no hail.
The ground is so soft.

Shawnee Dh is so "territorial" about his fishing spots. I asked him why he has not asked one of his friends to take him fishing with them but he is worried that they won't want to show him their spots. I laugh when we are talking about fishing and me going with him. I tell them that he has to blindfold me so I don't find out where his spots are. He will call the dealer today.
We have been watching the basketball games. Some good games with close scores lately. March Maddness will be here soon. (basketball finals)

Linda sorry that Nick will have to have tubes also. That web site was pretty detailed. Thanks again.

Not much going on here in Ky. Waiting for another estimate on some vinyl siding today. We will get 3.

Later folks

I'm between entertaining kids today. Jana is here and also babysitting the 2 youngest DGKids. No school and no daycare. Geez, why do these daycare people think they an take a day off?? So the 19 month and 5 yo here for the day. Plus Marisa the 8 yo will be here over night and maybe tomorrow too. DD has to take her "first love" back to the airport at 11:00 tonight. We live an 1 1/2 away so it takes some time. I think Jana may stay till Wed. and I'm thrilled. After bowling tomorrow we'll do our shopping trip to the mall. So much fun to take a 15 yo girl shopping!!

Roger sweetie, come on and get in that bathroom!!!!!!!! Isn't that where you said all those bright lights were? Sit on the throne and soak it up. Bring a good book in there and stay the day!!

Loretta, glad you liked the joke and didn't take offense. I thought it was pretty cute. So does DH have any timeline for getting the boat or is it wait and see??

Linda, more snow??? Time for the spring gods to spit on your place. Waking up yet?

Ginny, did you have a nice weekend?

I hate to say it but the weather is still sunny but cool. Guess I need to get that cam ready for Zip so he can see the light at the end of the tunnel.

High of 52 and low of 31 for today.

Hello Gang!

Was working this aft, one group over, another in the morning, off Wed and then at the office all day Thursday.

We had freezing rain today on my way to the group, not too bad though, we did get a few more inches so lots of the white sneux down now.

Lovely Pic Julie, I would send you by the truckloads to cover those peaks!

What's the joke? I must've missed that one, or is it on the GB?
I never have enough time to look over there thesedays!

Feelin tired gotta pack up the car for tomorrow mornings group.
Hope the weather co-operates.

You know Zip, you could always come and visit me!! That would get you out of that bleak depression. We just about have sun everyday and exciting times here!! Just the stress of my job would kick you out of any "oblivion".

Well Julie, those of us in education feel that we shouldn't have to babysit!! I guess everyone else had off today except us!

Loretta, does KY win EVERY year????? I always vote for them! I don 't follow basketball but always get into a pool for MarchMadness. One year I actually won and didn't have a clue!!Men and their fishing spots -- almost as bad as women and their beauty secrets! What a beautiful boat by the way!!

Now Linda, you LOVE that snow!! How's Larry doing?

We need some postive attitudes here: we all do our best when it's raining, snowing, cloudy, and the wind is blowing!!

Took me long enough to wake up, eh? Actually I got busy running around. Went to wally world and got really, really dizzy so I came home and took my BP. YIKES it was 103/58. No wonder this ol broad got dizzy. Guess I'll have to fiddle with those meds again.

Pigged out on Buffalo wings and salad for dinner and am finally getting back here for a few minutes.

Roger, hope you are feeling a bit better. You really, really NEED to get out in the sun ...if we ever get any.

So sad about Sandra Dee. She was rather young.

Ginny, how is work going? Hope things have settled down and aren't so nerve wracking for you there.

Bet your DH is so glad to be home.

Loretta, men are extremely territorial and don't like to give their fishing or hunting spot secrets away. My brother is the same way and absolutely HATES to take anyone with him on an elk hunt. However those animals are so big that one needs help.
LOL I can just see you blindfolded in that boat.
BUGS? try a motorcycle helmet. They keep the bugs out of our teeth too.

Julie,my gosh you are one busy girl with all the grand brats there. Hope you and Jana enjoy the shopping trip.

Just heard from my Montana cousin, a geologist/hydrologist in Montana and he is extremely concerned about the lack of snow pack in those mountains. Guess they are 60% below normal.

Susan, CUT BACK THOSE WORK HOURS You are going to put yourself in an early grave. Sheesh!!

Waving at Shawnee,Barb, Jackie and others.

Edited

Hi ya Barb, yeah we all have our moments. Guess some of us NEED sun.
Larry is doing well. He called last night and will see the doctor thurs to have the catheter removed, if there are no leaks that show up on the scan. Then he will head home.
