Good morning guys,

We saw a pretty good show last night called ON THE MOUNTAIN about life as a waitress/mom years after being the main squeeze of a superstar in rock who died of an OD. EVERYBODY was either in AA, NA, or SA (Sexaholics Anonymous.) I think the show would have had more appeal to those who are 12-steppers (not my style.)
Goodness, the City was semi-deserted because of the Super Bowl game with plenty of seats on Public Transportation...they should play the game EVERY Sunday!

We have neighbors DOWNSTAIRS as of Feb. 1...upstairs still empty, but warmer bathroom floors count for a LOT.

I don't really understand that "Domain Keys" system that e-mail providers use to determine forged addresses but clearly comcast.net is quite legitimate (I may have it one of these days if we switch cable.)
I duplicated Linda's sending and sent from Outlook Express THROUGH Yahoo to cpsandjulie. If my mail goes through, then the problem is Linda's end (or a FU at Yahoo.) If mine bounces back then the problem might be with Julie's Comcast server.
Linda, if my mail goes through I recommend you write to Yahoo Customer Care.
Are you CERTAIN you didn't leave a space in the address? Maybe you typed it in instead of getting from your Address Book automatically?

Got my butt moving early today, already been to the post office to mail out some ebay pkgs. Gonna leave for work early so I can stop at SWW during daylight hours. Avoiding everything after dark if I'm alone as there is a nutjob up there that is trying to attack women after dark. He was active a few weeks ago and they got him on security cameras, and then last week he tried to get a woman outside of a restaurant. She pepper sprayed him and kneed him in the cajones.

Not much new here. Time to go feed the kids!

Just checking in here with not much to report. Gloomy out there today but warm. One tulip is peeking up.

Ginny that gal sure did a good job on the attacker. I try not to go out after dark if I can help it.

Zip sometimes email is funny. My sis can send me something and I get it right away and I send her something and it takes several hours before she gets it. She uses MSN messenger and they also are her isp. Sometimes I get yours and visa versa and sometimes not.

Running through again. Just spent an hour talking to my best friend on the phone. Her DGS hit another biker head on in a motorcycle race a week ago. Horrible brain injury and collapsed lung. Lung ok and brain injury is doing better every day. Scarey!
Hard to console her but I think she is doing better.

Zip, thanks for trying and I did get your "test" and seemed to work so it must be Linda. Maybe it was a fluke, should have her try again. She's sent some emails through there before.

Ginny, for God's sake, stay inside at night. Be careful going to work too. Thats just downright scarey!!!

Loretta, oh tulips already? It's partly sunny here but only mid 40's. I love it though, as long as that sun is out, I'm happy!

Just got back from WW . It's still warm and fairly nice here but by Wed., it's going to snow again. Oh well.

Roger, G. went out yesterday to take advantage of our last sales tax free on clothing day and said the stores were mobbed. Guess most of the hicks here don't watch the game.

I don't type in e mail addys usually unless they are new. What I did was do a reply to her but it still came back. Just tried again so we shall see.

Gee Ginny, you best carry a gun or something and be on your toes in those parking lots. Unfortunately it's not really safe any place. Be careful.

SHEEEEESH! Just lost my post!

Glad to see everyone posting and we are getting thru this winter nicely.

DD and her DH were back home for 9:30p.m. last night, so it wasn't too long but just enough of a break for them!

I think they missed me on their vacations!

I broke a molar this morning crunching on my LC toast. I knew it had a hairline crack for over a year now and I have kept trying to tough it out. I guess now I will have to get it refilled and they will probably sell me a crown to cover it. I have two crowns already and they dont come cheap do they? We are covered for 100% on all dental work but the crowns I think are 50%.

I don't have any pain so not sure if they already did a root canal in that one. The filling is still stable standing open at one side on the inside where the tooth broke off.

Did the older adult group this aft. I have the pg gals in the a.m.

We too are enjoying these milder temps. I guess this is the January thaw, then, right back in the deep freeze till April!

Back in my hospital days, I used to take care of head injuries, quite a tough journey for most. for your friend and her DGS.

Some in my groups have been thru the 12 steps usually AA or NA, it helps them get thru so what the heck! Sounds like they would enjoy that type of show!

SuSUN, good luck on that molar. I've done that already -- must the age of those teeth, they were never meant to last this long? No wonder some older folks just gum it.

Linda, I would imagine that the "hicks" would be watching the game. In CO, they are trying to pass the "lets sell liquor on Sunday" law. For advertisement, they had guys ready to watch the big game and it's Sunday and how would one get more liquor when you run out?

Julie, how was your friend's DGS? Was only one hurt in the accident? That's really rough -- helmets?

Loretta, a tulip? Must you be so "springy" when the rest of us are having snow? I bet you miss shoveling snow off the roof from your previous storm!!

Ok Ginny, what are YOUR self-defense tactics? Out west here, we just carry shotguns on the rack in the back of the old pick-me-up truck!! A woman, without hormones, and a shot gun -- they would have to be out of their mind to mess with them!
