MVM SUNDAY (or maybe Thursday?)

FINALLY got the friggen 8 foot window washed and I can see through it. I have to pull the inner panel in and lay it on the sofa (in order to clean it's inside and it weighs about 100 CLUMSY pounds.

That's Hoboken to the North.

And here's Phonecia trying to bloom the couple buds that didn't blast (like 30 of them!)

That last bud is blotting out the Empire State Building.

We are going to the theater tonight and taking an A&P walk now, just for the nice 50 degree sun.

Have a nice day everyone.

Zip, I love your nice clean windows!! I like all the plants too. I've downsided but when my kids were growing up, I had plants EVERYWHERE. They always said they lived in a greenhouse!! Sure keeps the air clean though. Thanks for sharing your pics.

Rainy gloomy day so have been on the puter all morning. Do ya think I should get dressed? Nah, I didn't think so. Hmmm maybe I'll stay in them all day. Every do that? No snow here but just a few miles from here at my son's house they have lots. Off to do some more resting. Ha...maybe read my book now!

WhooooHoooo! Roger,

What a sparkling window...and lovely vistas! I guess you got some weights in there lifting and manouvering that monster pane, or should I say, pain!

Phonecia is certainly budding out all over! What a feminine bod she has

Julie,
Good for you resting and reading go for it! I guess you are saving your energy for tonight's big game!

I am leaving very soon to go to DD's the babysitting commences again!

Hugs to y'all.

Hey y'all,

Got a few more things done today, so I should be pretty set for the week, chore wise. I splurged on myself at SWW yesterday... got a pair of Levis bootcut low (but not too low like some) rise stretch jeans for under $20 and GET THIS: they were a size 6 Long!!! Woohoo! I knew the kicker was going to be if they shrunk in the wash, but they didn't so I got me new jeans I have my favorite pair of very old Chic jeans getting quite thin, just waiting for the one time I pull them on and hear rrrrrip! These will be their replacement.

Last night I finally got some good sleep. Only got barked awake 1x by the Bub....potty runs are a necessity! After that I slept until 9 this morning. I really must have needed it.

Zip, Phonecia looks GREAT! She's quite a happy camper, all those gorgeous roots! Glad she decided to bloom out for ya, and looks like more to come WTG!!! Do you still have neighbors upstairs and downstairs helping with your heat?

Julie, to hell with getting dressed if you're not going anywhere... why generate the laundry if you don't have to? Enjoy your lazy day!

Susan, have fun babysitting!

I may turn the game on, or may not. Not sure what I'll feel like. Hi to all, off to lurk for a bit.

Spent most of the day with my mom trying to decide where to stay in the outer banks when Lance comes for a visit. We settled on a nice little place right on the beach in Emerald Isle. Hope it's OK. The Ramada looked better and was less expensive, but my brother HATES people and crowds. LOL that's why he lives in Montana.

Wow Roger, that window is so clean, it doesn't even look like there is any glass in it. Phoenicia is lovely too, and <sigh> look at that spectacular BLUE sky. It sure makes me feel good to just gaze upon it.

Julie, I sent several e mails and replies to you from my yahoo and they keep getting returned...Don't know what that's about. I did send one from my Outlook Express. Hope you get it.
Maybe Roger or one of the computer literate people will know what this message means. BRB with it.

Ginny, you poor thing! You must have been exhausted. Glad you got to sleep in.
Wow on the price of those jeans. Glad they are a perfect fit. You should go back and get a few more pairs.

Love those stretchy ones because they are so comfortable, but they are difficult to find in my size.

Got a lot of catching up to do. More later.

Edited to add the return message I keep getting for Julie's e mail.

Roger, do you suppose it's because I downloaded Service Pack 2? Her other emails come through from her other accounts.

Thanks Roger for the lovely pictures from your place looking out over the city. I see a spot there in the upper left hand corner of the window in the #2 picture. Better check it out.
My sister used to live in a high rise apartment in Chicago and it looked right at Lake Michigan. She had lots of plants in her windows too. Spectacular view. Does you building have a garden on the roof? Hers did and you could enjoy a nice walk up there.

Well I survivied the day. We had a Fat Sunday Cajun Pot Luck at church today and then later we went over to DD in the city for Super Bowl Supper. Glad that Dh wanted to leave after we ate and visited for a while. The game was just getting started. I ate sparingly at both places.

Sounds like your vacation plans are coming together slowly. Will your other brother should be well enough to enjoy the visit by then. Will they go along to Emeral Isle? Isn't his surgery coming up soon?

Ginny you must have been pooped to sleep that much. WTG on those size 6 longs. Nice to be able to find what fits just right. I like the stretch type jeans too. But some of my Dockers that are made out of some stretchy material blend fit real nice too.

Julie did you ever get dressed today?

Susun bet Ella was sure glad to see her granny? What will she call you, Grandma?, Nanna? Mee Maw? (no mee maw for me)

Hi to the rest of our bunch.

Awww shucks, yeah I got dressed but in sweats!! I only stay in my jammies if I'm sick. I didn't go any place today but fooled around on this computer a lot. Washed my crystal as it was filthy! Never use it anymore but can display it.
Watching Paul McCartny sing right now. Much better than that so called entertainment they had last year.
