Sunday for the MVM

Hi everybody,

A bright 35 degrees after a light dusting of overnight snow.
We are going to Lincoln Center this afternoon to hear a pianist named Lois Lortie at Avery Fischer Hall...doing 4 works including a Tchaikowsky and a Prokoviev Piano Concerti. Dinner at DAN afterwards...a nice tempura Japanese/macrobiotic restaurant right across from Lincoln Center.

Heads Up: Google is offering a FREE photo editor:
http://www.google.com/intl/en/press/...l/picasa2.html

Thinking about you, Ginny.

Linda,
I can't WAIT to find some ribs. Thanks for the recipe.

To all a good day.

Hi Zip

Thanks for that web site on the photo editor. HP offers a free photo editor also. I really like and use the paint program in xp. I am used to it now. Better yet it saves the pictures I edit in jpg format so I don't have to convert. What do you know about a Norton program called password manager? It came for free with my Nortons. I will have to download it.
I see a better deal in today's paper for Norton's security suite, but you have to have proof of owning a previous Nortons in order to get full advantage of the refund. That or some other program of that type.

Linda will that bbq recipe work on wings? I tried cooking some pork ribs one time at a low temp and for a long time but they seemed to have dried out. A crappie measuring that length 13.58 might weigh about 1.5 or a little more pounds according to Dh. A nice 2 to 3 pounds measures somewhere around 17 inches. I knew he would know. He fishes mostly for crappie.
Oh we are getting a new boat sometime soon, but he hasn't seen it yet but has talked with the boat maker. It should be ready by the end of next week.

Susun I thought about the potassium levels but I usually check out fine. I am not on a diuretic but drink a lot of water. The drug information on the Lotrel cautions about taking too much potassium. I hesitate on the calcium because of a history of kidney stones. I sure am in a mess, but slept better last night.

Julie thanks for the info on the RLS. I wasn't sure about the sypmtoms of that problem. Hope you are ready to enjoy your mini vac. Please bring more food.

Barb waiting for that new avitar. Be careful on those roads. Is your DD enjoying her new HONDA? Bet she was glad to get some wheels back.

Shawnee is your DH interested in the Super Bowl?. IT sure seems to generate a lot of attention. I would enjoy it more if I knew how the game was played. I understand the commercials a lot better.

Hey Jackie hope you are enjoying your weekend off.

Ginny.

Be content gang.

Hello Gang!

It is a gorgeous sunny day up here only -3C, so as DH jokingly says, it is T shirt weather!

I did 15 minutes on the treadmill today and just took the dogs out for 30 minutes in the brilliant SUNshine! Love it, can't get enough of it! WE all need a touch of sunlight in our day eh?

More chores to plough thru but at my own pace, just love it.

Will catch y'all later!

Hi Y'all

Montana, LOL...is MOOSE DROOL a real beer? Gotta love that name.

Zip, hope y'all enjoy your afternoon of music and food. Ah, Life in the Big City.

Loretta, did your DH enjoy his Birthday? Congrats to y'all on that new BOAT ! He must be thrilled bout that. Naw, Bob isn't in to football. I'd like the tv games better if the smart-azzed commentators would SHUT UP now and then.

SuSUN, aren't you just a busy gal today ??? But its good you are doing your thing at your own pace.
LOL on the "pony" ride....thinking Nada on Western or English...maybe bareback Native with a twist (Velcro on the inside thighs of my Levis...that should stick well to his fuzzy humps)
Here he is, doing his Mick Jaeggar imitation...gotta love those lips.

FOUR YEARS ago today, I started my LCing adventure.

Ginny, to you and family.

To ALL, have a super Sunday

Shawnee,

Poor Camel: "He can't GET NO satisfaction!"

Loretta,
I always shy clear of any aids for remembering my passwords. I feel safest with a couple sheets of loose leaf in the DESK. Hey, you ARE a previous owner of Norton since it was included with your computer so you qualify for all the upgrade rebates...you just print out the page with your serial number...hit the Helpp button on the Norton Page and choose Product Registraion...just print that using your Print Key and the PAINT program.

Susun,
Good for you on the Treadmill...is that at home or at a gym?

We had a nice day, good music, good food, and mild weather.

Hi Ya All agin!

Bin ploughing thru my list of things to do today! Feels good just to do simple tasks and actually have the time to do them.

Shawnee,
I guess that "pony" is sure lonesome, "He can't get no satisfaction, and he tried, and he tried...poor fellow! Yes, I can see he is definitely a relative of Micks.

CONGRATULATIONS ON 4 YEARS LCING!

Loretta,
We want pics of the "new Boat!" Great going!
Hope you get some relief from the leg cramps tonight.

Roger,
That was at home the treadmill is borrowed for a short time from a friend of DH's to see if we would use one.

Susun sounds like you enjoyed the day just getting re organized. I like that feeling too. Won't have the boat for another week or two.

CONGRATS SHAWNEE ON THAT 4TH YEAR ANNIVERSARY OF LOW CARB LIVING!!!!!!!

Isn't it great to be able to eat such great food and stay thin!!!!

Zip why didn't I think of that sooner for proof of ownership of a previous Norton's program. Now you tell me.
I did download the pass word manager just to see what it is all about. Most likely I will ditch it but I wanted to check it out. I too have my methods for remembering passwords.

Happy 4th year Anniversary Shawnee You done good lady.

LMAO the poor "pony" just can't win.

You bet Moose Drool is a real beer and so darn good. Had and some of the others in Montana.

Susan, <shudder> treadmill Do you find them as boring as I do?

Glad you are finally getting some time to yourself. How much are you working this next week?

Loretta, congrats on the new boat and yes we do want a picture.

No matter how we cook pork, its dry. I found out they have bred pigs leaner which SUCKS! If you can find a rack of baby back ribs with lots of fat, try that.

As for wings. I don't know since I always either deep fry them or bake them till crispy at 450 degrees then melt 1/3 stick of butter and add Frank's RED Hot sauce....add wings and shake to coat. I LOVE BUFFALO WINGS.

Roger, you should go to Dinosaurs first to try something and see if you like the BBQ sauce. If so, bring some home and have at those ribs.

Hope you enjoyed the concert and meal. Gosh I love Tchaikovsky.

Ah passwords. Mine are on a bulletin bb next to the computer.

Off to rest my eyes. Been on this computer so long looking for motels in SC on the BEACH. Got some great plane reservations for my brother, Lance. He is flying out on April 25 for about 10 days. We will take my mom to Raleigh to see her sister and then head for the beach for a few days.
