Good Morning Maintainers!
Rise and Shine! We have blue skies and SUN today! It was -52C with the windchill on the Prairies this week, glad we had a warm up. I guess you are all uploading caffiene. Will check back later. Chores to do today, then babysitting tonight! Hugs, SuSUN P.S. Loretta, Shawnee would you have any good sites for baby patterns? I am looking for a little cardigan to knit for Ella. I have been to Patons and Lion but cant find anything. |

Hi Susun and those that follow.
Birthday Party for Leah today, her very 1st one. Hope she is feeling better today for the party. Susun those temps are just too cold up there. Put a little wind to it and that is a lot worse. Enjoy your visit with Ella this evening. Don't have any sites for knitting. You could just do a search for free baby patterns for knitting and you should come up with something. Zip I think I got off the jury duty. I would have had to drive him there and pick him up, he would have missed his crappie season, it starts in Feb and March. But I was glad to sit in on the presentation of the judge for jury duty. The local court does seem to want to work with the jurors and is appreciative of having them serve. $12.50 a day no less. Will check back later when I can stay longer. Loretta Last edited by Loretta V : 01-15-2005 at 09:36 AM. |

HAPPY FIRST BIRTHDAY TO LEAH! WOW! I can't believe that already!Have a wonderful day with Leah Loretta! Thanks for the info on knitting patterns. SuSUN ![]() Just wanted to add those temps were not here but further West on the prairies! Our temps today are -7C going down to -9C this aft and -14 tomorrow, that is without the windchill. DH starts Prednisone tomorrow, 4 loading dose, then 2/d for a week, then 1/d, so we will see if this helps. Last edited by SuSUN : 01-15-2005 at 11:35 AM. |

Hi guys,
Happy Birthday to Leah. After the museum on the short walk to Saks on Thursday, we happened to passs CARTIER'S window. A cute bauble caught our eye. It would be perfect for Leah's hope chest and she could wear it at the prom. Wadda you all think: ![]() Bob popped in for the price....Guess! Nothing doing today. Bob and I are just enjoying each others company and trying to remember what to do on such days. I bought some Tilapia filets for dinner tonight. Bye the way, the fish used to be called Saint Peter's Fish and was reputedly the fish from the "loaves and the fishes." Second largest farmed fish in the world. A&P had it for $3.99, nice and fresh! Now what to have WITH it is always the hard part. Linda, I'm soaking some black beans and will try my hand at beans in which that I can control the sodium. It's VERY important since I'm going the next six weeks with no BP meds! I guess we'll watch the BOURNE SUPREMACY since our neighbor lent it to us. I know Jacki said it was only okay, but nothing good on. Gee, I can't see people wanting to OWN DVD's of movies! Jacki, I LOVE your shy posie pose. Susun, That weather report of yours screwed up our weekend plans. We were SOOOO counting on the Holiday Weekend at the lovely beaches of Manitoba and Saskatchewan. ![]() ![]() Enjoy the long weekend especially those that get Monday off!

Finally getting here gang.
Gee it's darn cold and there is more snow in the forecast for tomorrow. Susan, so did they come up with a DX for your DH? Pred, eh? That can work miracles if used with caution. Hope it helps. Let's hope that frigid weather stays out there on the Prairies . shudder.... Have fun with Ella tonight. Loretta, Oh we cant' wait to hear how Leah's birthday party went. Please share some pictures. Leah Let us know how she liked Zip's suggested gift. Ginny, gee you have sunshine? Please, when you are through with it, send it NORTH. Bet your orchids are loving it. Jackie, Love your purdy blossom. Where are you learning to do those great graphics? Roger, < faints dead away> WOW! Now that is a lovely little bauble. I would guess it is in the neighborhood of $500,000 or so. Maybe more??? Let us know how the black beans measure up to the canned ones. I'll be curious to know. Canned seem rather mushy to me and I much prefer soaked dried beans. Shawnee, aww what purdy flowers. Not quite a trip to Mexico but a wonderful surprise just the same. What a good kid you have there. Enjoy the weekend with DS an DGS. waving to everyone else. Off to lurk and then to bed. |
