THURSDAY'S VINTAGE MAINTAINERS

Hi Maintainers,

Well we're off soon. They just reopened the newly remodelled Museum of Modern Art (MOMA) after 4 year's work. Today will be my first peek. We're also going to do a freebie Linner at Saks Fifthe Avenue (complementary pass.) it's ALWAYS good.

Weather here is a peasoup fog and 50F,,,I don't see how we;ll get to the expected 60F unless the sun comes out.

I'll try to get some snaps at the museum.

Later!

Roger, what do you mean a freebie Linner. A little dumb here. You mean you can't go into Saks any ole time you want??

Well, here it's cool (35) and not suppose to get much warmer. Could be a little snow but I doubt it.

Easy day today. Nick took the truck to school so don't have to Taxi him today. Pick up DGS from daycare and take her to preschool at 12:30...then get a massage at 2:30. Whoopie!!!!!!!!!!

Everyone have a good day!!!!!!!!

Hey gang,

Cooler and rainy today. Lotsa wind last night and this morning had the puppies restless overnight. Time for us to cool off, low of 33 tonight! Then back to 'normal' stuff for a while I reckon.

Not much news here, hope all are doing well!

Well, I got brave and downloaded Service Pack2 again. Wow, what a difference without weatherbug!!! I left and came home an hour later and it was done. Amazing...

Linda, do I still use Zone Alarm or use the Winows Firewall? Not sure what to do...

Hi gang.

Oh Roger, how I envy you the freebie linner at Sacks. Slurp...please tell us all about it.

How about this wonderful weather? Enjoy it because that arctic blast is coming this weekend.

Looking forward to seeing some pictures of the Museum.

Ginny, poor pups. Guess the weather affects them too, eh?

Julie, NO don't use Zone alarm with SP2. It will conflict with the built in firewall included in SP2.

No matter what I do, I can't get my address bar to go back to Google though. Darn it all!! And I'm a bit hesitant to download the google search bar from the site since I want to be sure there are no conflicts with it.

Have you tried to click SEARCH> CHANGE PREFERENCES >CHANGE INTERNET SEARCH BEHAVIOR > Scroll down and click Google ??? It just won't bring it up for some reason. Been reading that MSN has something built in that makes it very difficult to change it that came with SP2. If you find any answers, let me know.

OK - I give up -- what's Service Pack 2????????

You computer experts are confusing me!! I'm sure glad I have a tech to do it for me.

Weather is getting better here - lots of sun, snow is melting here in the valley and the mountains are socked in!!

I think that everyone gets restless with wind -- sure does rattle me!!

Not much else going on -- oh yes, my "meth girl" ran away from home this weekend with an adult male -- mom can't find her ( but my underground sources say she's in Denver).

My "young mom" student also found out that 19 year old fathers fade fast!! No help, complains, and wants that kid to stop crying! I'm a little concerned with this situation because he has such a temper but did alert every agency I could!!

We are on four day work weeks now and I'm looking forward to a three day weekend.

to all........

Barb

Hi Y'all

Barb, you could make a fortune by renting out your Tech to those in need.

Sad bout your "problem" kids, especially the one with the Baby...so damn many abused children reports lately. Would rather see them abandoned in a Church/ store restroom, etc... than have them treated like a punching bag.

Our weather is headed for the Crapper: snow followed by freezing rain starting Friday night. *WHEE*...are ya ready for that, Julie?
Did the massage work its magic?

My biggest weather concern is losing Power...Brrrrrr. If necessary, we can use the self-contained travel trailer.

Loretta, hoping you are enjoying your company.

Goddess, those Pups have their own built-in weather predictors.
Gal, ya better wear your THERMAL THONG on those cold work nights

Zip...Now, that's a true FREEBIE !!! What's the view like from your table?
Hope ya got some good MOMA snaps. Sharing them is a GOOD thing.

Montana, hope ya get your puter back to the state ya want it in.
Keep your skinny butt warm when the Big One hits!

Hey Jacki, looking forward to the 3-day weekend?

Hi SuSUN in the frozen North. How's the NO thing working out?

Later All
Stay safe, warm, and content.
