MERRY CHRISTMAS MVM'S

Ho, Ho, Ho, Cough, HACK, SNEEZE! Best wishes from your old Aunty...Aunty Histamine that is!

Small ancient Sears electric blankee (twin) worked pretty well. I'll limp it through the winter.
Polar Fleece, eh? Gotta look into that.
But no amount of covers beats an electric blankets when you're shivering from a "debiltating condition."
Threw out the old blankee...got 3 left! Maybe a big puffy down filled comforter next year...but then all the mess with a separate duvet, yada yada and the $200 (or more) price tag for a good one.

So home I sit today...I told Bob he had BETTER come home with a large package of GOODIES for me.

Cold here (mid 20's) but Bob will have a nice clear day. They had BETTER have something decent on TV.

Last night's duck (1/2 each) was superbly succulent. At the last minute I went to microwave the large pile of leftover mashed rutabaga from last weekend but IT'S GONE. I even know it's in a GLAD container with a blue lid but neither container nor rutabagas exist in this dimension. I could see sleepwalking (or sleepeating) but I don't think either of us could digest a square foot of polyethylene!????????
So the duck stood alone, with orange sauce and cranberry sauce (balanced meal???)

Barb,
I hung a quilt that said BLACKS SLAVES THIS WAY with a big arrow...for some reasons several of my neighbors got pissed! Go figger.

More later after I do my morning ALLEGRA.

Enjoy your day...I'll spend mine with my good buddy, BEEFEATER!

MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL MY BB BUDDIES!

So sorry to hear you are side-lined Roger! Enjoy your Aunty......memories of "Aunty's Skirts" by Robert Louis Stevenson, chuckle! Keep snuggly warm!

We are off the DD's soon, can't wait to see Ella. I just heard her down the phone screaming and volcalizing at all the excitement of just being a baby at Christmas! Feeling truly Blessed!

Thank you for the Birthday wishes, it is a tough day to have a birthday! Now, just 4 more years to a pension!

WISHING YOU ALL TERRIFIC FAMILY GATHERINGS!

Merry Christmas gang

We are off to my DD's soon for dinner and then will make a stop at my older son's houses to play with the kids new "toys". Gosh those electronic games are awesome!

Gosh Darn it Roger, I'm so sorry you got sick during the holidays. Bob better bring you home a plate of goodies.

"Sleep eating" is something Gerard does frequently. Hope you didn't "catch" it from him.

here is a picture of the warmest jacket I have ever worn. It's a double polar fleece, light weight but very warm. Even more so than my down jackets.

LL Bean has some but they aren't double. Check Target because I've seen some there, not double but still warm. Jan. should have some wonderful white sales too.

Mom got an electric mattress pad that is really warm too. I think she got that one from the Company Store. Check on line, maybe you will find something.

Susan, have a wonderful time at DD's.

Hi ya Ginny and Julie. Enjoy your day.

Waving to Shawnee, Loretta, Barb, Jackie and lurkers.

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!

Been so busy -- not much time for computer today.

Hope everyone is having a great day -- even ZIP -- with a cold and maybe "goodies" from BOB!! When I'm sick -- I'll take anything!!

Weather is getting better here and will probably go snow-shoeing tomorrow up at Telluride. We'll hit the HOT SPRINGS again that night and then home to eat leaftovers. DD leaves on the 30th so we try to get in our "rocky mountain high" before she leaves for MN.

to all.........

Barb

Guess who gave us the present of speaking on command today? Yep, did it for DH and then later for me. Of course Bub was WELL REWARDED!!! Today he has also vocally asked to come in from outside, and asked Bull to move over (to no avail, so I had to make his request followed LOL). Now that he's talking again, we KNOW he's on the road to recovery! Sassy boy.

Had a very nice, quiet day here. We each took naps and talked to family and friends.

Hugs to all, and a Very Merry Christmas!
